- Leads dated in highschool. (we see this through flashbacks teh first episodes) - Her parents are crazy rich, her mother is megacontrolling of her and her brother. So when she finds out, she makes her break up with him, threatening her with cutting ties with her family if she doesnt do so. - Also, she is adopted, and besides controlling her a lot, the mother also cared for her many times, so she also loves her mother and doesnt want to lose her. So she breaks up with him and is sent abroad. - During the next 10 years, ML tries to become somebody important to deserve her, but her mother sabotages that 2 times. FL doesnt know about this - Show starts and FL is back. They meet by chance, and FL starts trying to talk to him, but he avoids her. At some point, she even asks him to get back together. - We see several episodes with this dynamic, and slowly, ML starts being more open to her again. - At some point they are flirting again. She tells her mother and tries to convince her, but she again threatens her to cut ties with her if she gets together with him. So each time they are about to get together, she hesitates - FL gets drunk, runs to ML and explains how much she loves him, and how she is fighting to be able to be with him. She explains she is trying to become an important surgeon to not depend on her family and be able to be with him. But she also tells him she is disappointed that she doesnt see him do any effort (she doesnt know everything he did for her during those 10 years) - Next day he goes to her house and asks her to be together, but again she hesitates. - They continue severtal episodes like this, flirting, but not getting officailly together - There is an earthquake and both go with the relief team (Ive seen this in so many shows now :P) - There, they meet several times and their romance escalates quickly. At the end, they agree to meet when they are back, and both them and us viewers know it is to finally get together. - And indeed it is. In episode 25 they get together. And it is not like many asian shows where they are shy about it, they get together like fire. That same night they sleep together and from this point on, in one house or another they stay together. They also dont try to hide it from anybody - After a few weeks dating in her house, she goes see her mother and tells her she is with him. Her mother is mad and doesnt want to know anything about her, but FL cries, and tells her that even if she doesnt want to see her, she is going to visit every week. FL loves ML since the start, but that doesnt mean cutting ties with your mother is fine, even if she is being a bitch about this topic. Some comments criticize FLs behaviour, but I think she was amazing. - Since she went against her mothers will, FL renounces to everything paid by her inlcuding the house, so she goes live with ML , his uncles and his cousin. I love this part of the show - Some more episodes pass, some happy ones, a few disaster (fireworks and hospital) ones. - After those disaster episodes, FL gets angry because ML is keeping some secrets from her. It isnt a big problem, she goes spend a few nights with a colleague but tells him "we are not breaking up, its just a quarrel" :P - ML wont tell her those secrets because its what happened while they were appart, how her mother sabotaged his promotions 2 times - FL coaxes MLs sister to tell her the secret and is devastated when she foinds out. She cries about what ML had to endure, runs home, and tells her mother to fuck herself. Well, not literaly :P - She runs back to ML, hugs him and says she is so sorry. - FL told her mother she would cut ties with her, but FLs family starts having some trouble so she keeps having contact. - When the problems are solved, FLs father comes around and goes visit leads and his uncles. He gives them his blessing. - Leads start to plan the wedding. - Disaster happens and ML rescues FLs mother. She tells other survivors he is her daughters boyfriend, aknowledging him for the first time - FL eats dinner with her family and they all give her their blessing - ML had been preparing a lovely house for them, they move there - We see a few of other couples forming before the end. - Very happy ending
Their relationship was very mature, both in how they treated eachother and also physically (unlike in many asian shows) They are grown ups and sleep together from the start, and arent ashamed of kissing or holdingt hands in public.
While there were a few forced blind dates, and other pèople who liked the leads, you cant say there was any love triangle. Both leads loved the other one so much from the start that not only did they have 0 interest in anybody else, but they also werent afraid to tell anybody about it

The leads carry this show like a boss. Both are amazing. They show their love for the other one from episode 1 to 40, constantly, it's amazing. Once they get together, their relationship is so mature, sweet, caring and they continuosly keep showing their 100% love for the other one.
Yes, they (mostly FL) have a problem that prevents them from getting together, but without that we woudlt have show. Anybody criticizing FL is out of their mind. Yes, she hesitates for a long time to be together... well because she has a fraking big problem about it and she is fighting to solve it. In other shows, while this happens, she would be cold towards him, in a typical noble idiocy way. In this show on the other hand, she never stops showing how she loves him every frikin episode. She just wants to do it right, regarding her problem. And yes, she likes him so much that theres a few times where she seems she wants to start dating and then hesitates. But during all that she is SO loving towards him, and suffering herself so much from her "problem", that it really is not her fault. She is also a victim.
If you want to watch 2 beautiful (omg, really) leads, having a beautiful and mature romance, watch this show. It will take them quite some time to get officially together, but like I said, you will feel their love since the very start.

Female lead is amazing. Yes, she hesitates, because of the big problem she has about dating him. But that doesnt prevent her from showing how much she loves him and she doesnt hesitate to tell that to anybody. She cant officially date him because she wants to do it right, and she has that big problem, but she is amazing. I love when leads show their love constantly and she does.
why would he be with a self woman tho? She did nothing but sit around waiting for him to save her.
she spent 10 years on a company she disliked gathering information to bring them down and pay her debt to MLs father. all that time, she waited for ML to finally settle or at least forget his revenge and get together with her. He made her wait and then got together with another girl
Even more, ML took down the heir sure, but it wasn't his revenge who took down the company, it was sFL
Last 2 episodes were as good, happy and cute as the rest of the show

Really? Ruin it? Theres a miniproblem where nobody even gets a mad, they talk about it, aplologize and even thank eatchother about it, and are happy again in half an episode. And this is ruining the show? I completly hate shows where something bad happens towards the end, but this is absolutly nothing. It's sweet even, since nobody gets angry about what happened, they are all amazing
Just finisheds rewatching this show after over a year. It is better than I remembered, even more after the get together.
After they get together, leads are just awesome. Lots of chemistry, both look very in love with the other constantly, very understanding, very mature...
Also, this show has one of the most realistic physical interactions Ive seen in asian shows. Many asian shows are a bit weird with physical contact. Many have bad kisses, or too shy interactions for the leads ages. But even ones with good kisses... it feels like... planed. Like "ok, kiss time, ok kiss time over". In this show it feels much more natural, like a real new (adult) couple would behave physically.
Also, theres many comments saying "stop at ep14" or "last 2 episodes are bad".... I really have no idea what those people have been smoking. I hate when something bad happens in shows. And this was absolutly nothing. Something bad from the past came up briefly, they felt sad for half an episode, and then all apologized and thanked eatchother and were happy again. Last 2 episodes are as good and happy as the rest of the show.
It's good, objectively speaking its a very good show. But... for my taste too much comedy. I love asian dramas for the romance, still prefer american shows for the humor.
This show has an important romance plot, but it's a silly one, more than a satisfying one.
Actors are very good, main and secondary ones.

I dont even know him, just read this randomly and found it funny. Well, IMO somebody with such a handicap shouldnt do so many romances. Its like wanting to be a western movies actor and refusing to ride or wield guns...
