So you enjoy a guy treating a girl like a dog for several episodes. Then falling for her, but telling her "you have to not let me be with you" (wtf is this ridiculous argument?), Then both about being together, but the girl that didn't care about being treated like a dog, getting mad about absolutely nothing (she just hears him say something that isn't bad at all about her), then he loses his memory and suddenly she wants to be with him like crazy, then he gets the memory back, runs to her and.. surprise, now she acts as if she doesn't want to, then they both want again but she wants to leave to be a better person for him, even tho he doesn't want to, then he counts every day she isn't there, then she comes back and doesn't even tell him and they randomly meet... And the get together in the final 30 seconds.

The show is a total mess of stupid behaviours and nonesense decissions

And when I say at the start he treats her like a dog, I don't mean the typical trope where ML is a bit of a jerk at the start. Oh no, here he is so bad to her that he should have no redemption

For anybody not wanting 20 terribly dramatic events in one single drama, avoid this one.

I watched this show long ago. But I want to let anybody who is deciding on watching this show, that this has the most beautiful secret reveal of any drama.
What ML finds out close to the end is beautiful.

I guess you already watched it, but in case you didnt: MLs brother likes her, so you could say there is a love triangle. But I hate love triangels and this one is not annoying at all, or if you are very sensitive very very mildly annoying. FL never does anything to encourage him, she never even realizes he likes her until the very end where he tells her as a goodbye, and she is 10 years older. Also, both brothers love eachother so there is no quarrel.

This one still sits at 8.5? omg. it's one of the most annoying shows Ive watched. Ive watched 138 dramas and this is my fifth worst rated one. I really dont understand what people enjoy about this drama.

No, but almost. He almost breaks up because of noble idiocy, but in the last moment she discovers what's happening and stops it. And she stops it in a pretty funny way.

Just a personal opinion :P they are so good together since early that it's hard to say in what episode they are considered a couple. But I started to enjoy them a lot at about episode 20, and in 25 they act already so close that I considered them a couple. But they kiss later

Indeed. But I hate shows when the leads get together late, and like I explained, you could say they are together much earlier. For me, 25 is when they act like a couple already (without kissing sure) but they are great together even before that

Oh come on, 19 of 24, that doesnt leave many episodes to enjoy them togeter.
I just finished Hidden Love and theres more epiodes of them together and I still wanted more :P

I know its good, but I like the romance part, and I dont like if it takes forever or if one of them doesnt look much in love. Im undecided because indeed Ive read she never looks as much in love as he does, and that it takes a lot for them to get together. But if theres still 30 episodes of them together, that would be nice

FLs character is amazing. She may act young, but she is confident, caring, straightforward, and does everything she can to help ML, who is supposed to be the adult one.

Still, for western standards she does act younger than her supposed age, but I think that's normal in asian dramas.

Its not a well writen review, I always try to write down the romance milestones to help otehrs decide if they want to watch a show or not. I always appreciate it when I find that in a show Im deciding to watch or not

- ML is FLs brother friend, and they first meet when she is 14 and he is 19. FL is played by another actres here (pretty good one)
- FL as a child is already starstruck by ML. She asks him for help with something and he helps her. After that, they dont meet for 3 years. All that is in episode 1.
- Now FL is already the main actress, but we still see a few more scenes of the other actress when remembering more details about what happened then.
- FL is still startstruck by ML and soon she aknowledges to herself that she has fallen gor him.
- FL uses every excuse she can find to be with ML. Going with her brother, having him as a tutor, and so on.
- ML is 100% caring for her. He doesnt like her romantically, but it would have been wrong at this point, they still show her as a kid. But he cares A TON for her.
- He moves back to another city, but they keep in touch. She made him promise that if he got a girlfriend, she would have to aprove of her.
- In episode 7 FL hears he has a girlfriend (its not true) and takes a plane to see him. She sees him with another girl (just his boss) and thinks he indeed has a girlfriend and broke his promise.
- She decides to stop her crush on him and stops contacting him. She isnt really mad with him, just very sad and decides its best to stop contact. He knows nothing about it and keeps trying to contact her. It is not angsty like for example in Our Secret, believe me.
- She had already planned to study on his city, so she still does, but not for him anymore.
- 2 years later she is 19 and freshman in the university of his city. They meet by chance and start having contact regulary(she was never mad at him, just sad)
- Now during several episodes they keep meeting and there are highs and downs in her hopes because she sees many things that shows how he worries about her, but also some very small missunderstandings happen too where she thinks he doesnt (small and not angsty at all).
- In episode 9 he is ill, and she cares for him, and from this point on we start to see that he is starting to have romaantic feelings for her.
- Still, there continues to happen some small missunderstandings that make her think that he doesnt. Again, very small, they dont even quarrel or get mad.
- In episode 15 he finally confesses his love. But he discovered she already loved him before he did (altho he doesnt know that its from very long ago), so to make her "save face" (he says that literally) he decides to pursue her for a time, to make it seem it was him who fell first and make her look good
- So he doesnt confess confess, he confesses he is going to pursue her. She kind of likes it and plays hard to get for a while (in a playfull way, and giving many hints that she ofc is going to say yes)
- In episode 17 they get finally together. The show was already sweet up to this point, but man, from now on its a frikin pleasure.
- They date a lot, they are 100% loving to eatchother, they dont have the smallest problem between them... everything is great till the end.
- A girl who likes ML causes a bit of trouble for FL in her work, but very minimal. And her parents make a bit of trouble for ML, but again nothing. Her parents are very very nice. When they find out, they show a bit of concern in a very polite way, altho they say something a bit hurtful to him. But they are very nice and soon give them their blessing.
- When her parents say that bad thing to him, FL confesses to him she has liked him since she was 17, showing him some very sweet secret notes she wrote at that time. ML then remembers many things that make sense now and both cry. This is episode 23
- In the last episode he proposes.

No love triangles, no angst, just one "evil" character and it was very minor, supportive parents, amazing brother, everybody is great in this show, but both leads are a gem

Just finished it. OMG, what a show.

Let me tell you, during the first half, I was a bit disappointed. Does that mean it was bad? Not at all. It was already great. But this show has ratings, reviews and comments like it is a masterpiece. So even while being great, I felt it wasnt as amazing as I read. But then the second half of the show started... and OMG, it is a masterpiece indeed.

And dont missunderstand my previous comment, this show is great from episode 1. It's just... that the second half is even better.

What a gem of characters both leads are. You really cant be sweeter and more loving and caring than these two. Really a masterpiece of romance dramas.

Does that mean they are the 29 episodes of part 2 together? That wouldnt be bad at all

Some time ago I decided not to watch this drama after doing some research. Its been recommended to me again and I dont remember why I decided not to watch it. Maybe it looked to cater too much just to girls?
Can somebody tell me at what episode they get together, and if its the typical show where ML has to do all the work: constantly pursuing, apologizing, enduring love rivals, and so on?
