I guess im the only one who got bored in this drama. Im maybe tired by the whole "cold male torturing the others-esp…
I usually dislike enemy to lovers trope, prefering freinds to lovers, but this one was quite special in my opinion. It was more like "Im tring to really murder you" to lovers xD And also the plot twist in the middle of the enemy part was great
I watched this on VIKI and I said almost the exact same thing in the comment section. I know CDrama’s like their…
Agree with everything you said. The same happened with the ratings in my case, even with the same numbers. Was going to give it close to a 10 (I did with Meeting you), then a very low score after the second part, so mixing bothI gave it a 7.5
Those "bad things" were not realistic, they were so ridiculous.
I don't understand the positive comments at all. I finished it (i'm not a quitter), but it's bad.zero chemistry…
1. Its very lighthearted, some of us hate watching dramatic romances, and theres a lot of those. 2. They get together pretty early 3. They never have a quarrel after that. 4. Their parents support is amazing, so frikin satisfying 5. The scenes of them as children are not only very fun, but they totally fit with the show. This is unlike many romances where they try to somehow insert a common past of the leads without the need of it. 6. Ending is beautiful
If you dont like this show, Im pretty sure you werent here for the fluff. But some of us like shows just for the fluff, without wanting any other deep stories
Just finished rewatching it. Beautiful. If you like lighthearted sweet romances where they get together pretty early and dont have problems between them after that, this is one of the best shows.
I usually post a romance recap, but I already posted one the first time I watched it, you can find it further down.
I have no idea about chinese, but I watch a lot of chinese dramas and this one sounds kind of off. Do they speak another dialect or something like that?
If you want romantic romance, pretty bad. More details under spoilers.
It's a romance because about 75% of the plot is about them falling in love and trying to be together, sure. But you never really see them together. They get unofficially together in episode 26, oficially in 28, and soon after have problems and are never together until the last 20 seconds of the show
> she's talking and acting like a child..Some guys are into that type of girl... Esther is the best for playing…
Disagree, Ive read this argument several times. Ive watched other shows where some people complained about FL being childish, but I usually found them ok in those cases, sometimes even cute. Not in this one, or in Moonlight. FL is not childish, she is annoyingly childish.
Just finished it. it's... I mean, objectively it is good. But not exactly what I like. They should divide the tag…
When I read they dont get together until episode 28 of 36, it was already a tough decision if I should start it or not, because thats fraking long. But what I didnt expect, is that once they get together, they arent together until the last 20 seconds of the show.
Romance recap: - They start bickering - ML soon gets interested in FL but he does have his feelings blocked so it's not love yet just... interest - In episode 15 you could say FL starts likeing him a bit - Episode 18 he gets his emotions back, but they cant be together because they are from enemy factions - Episode 26 they kiss and kind of are together unofficially - Episode 28 they officially get together - About 1 or 2 episodes later they start having problems, and are separated until the last 20 seconds of the show. First he acts as if he doesnt like her to free her from an item, then she wants to sacrifice for him, then she dies, then she resurrects but has lost her memory of him, then she gets engaged to another guy, then we realize she does have her memory but she has to fight and die again so she doesnt want to harm him and fakes amnesia, then he gets possesed by an evil god, then she has to kill him, then he spends 500 years dead... and when the credits are about to roll he magicalyl appears and they kiss.
Yeah sorry, this is a trying to be together romance, not a romance I like. I like to enjoy the leads together once they become a couple
Also, theres a big ass love triangle from episode 1 to 36. Actually the last episode of the show starts with the wedding between FL and sML...
I wish more people would have made all this clear when I read the comments. Saying they dont get together until late was a BIG understatement of how little romantic the show is

They should divide the tag Romance in 2 different tags: Romantic romance and "trying to be together" romance, where the only romance plot you see is trying to be together, not really being together.

EDIT: on a side note, MLs acting is so good. He really nails it. And when they switch boddies he does it amazingly well. I didnt like FLs actress in Moonlight at all. Here she is a bit better, but still not good in my opinion. Except when they switch bodies, I liked her acting more in those parts than when she was annoying Orchid. So maybe its the character which sucks, both here and in Moonlight, and not the actress, who knows
I think you are talking about ep10 when DFQC build her the Arbiter Hall and want her to stay with him. At this…
Well, in my opinion if somebody thinks you are a traitor, indeed you want to go back and clear things up. But if somabody in a ridiculous way decalres you a traitor, doesnt even let you speak, and just tries to kill you, you are mad with him, not ready to go back and die if needed.
Anyway, it's just a show. But in my opinion they do this to make the "poor FL be captive by ML", when actually he is helping her

I agree about the rest of what you say, but not about her going back and clear her name. She wasnt just accused, she was attacked and the lance that was going to pierce her was stopped in the last second by ML. Also, sML does whatever the emperor says. I just dont understand how you can flee a place that is trying to kill you and then just say: let me go back. If she had a plan or something, well sure. But she is just trying to flee from MLs place and go back. To me its just a poor way of trying to show her as a captive of ML, but it does not make any sense IMO
Im at the part where they fled to MLs lands because they all tried to murder FL. I dont understand why they act as if she is a prisoneer and wants to go back... they want to kill her, i get she misses it, but it makes no sense for her trying to sneak back...
Let me go back, please let me go back, let me go back..... omg I whish he would let her go back so they attack her again... she is so annoying.... they tried to impale you, yeah just go back...
There is a reason for this type of female character to be common, because many men like that kind of character,…
Mmh I can't really answer that question. I don't follow any actresses in particular. I watch lots of dramas, and like or dislike the leads (usually like), but I don't know their names and I don't watch a drama for the cast, altho I'm happy when there's somebody in it I liked in another drama

I didn't watch starry love because of the ending. I like very happy endings and I didn't like what I read about that one
