Well, just finished it (both seasons). Hard to rate. It has cool story and action, and great acting. But I couldnt really enjoy the romance much. The chemistry is good, and the leads (both seasons) handsome, interesting and sweet. But.... too many problems, too little time together
Honorable mention to the disgusting love triangle. It wasnt a toxic one, but more annoying than many toxic ones. It lasted almost the entire frikin show, and they wasted so many sweet scenes on sML and FL... Rated it an entire point lower because of this.
Also, ML was better at the beginning. I liked his character when he was cheerful and just wanted to learn magic and become powerful. But at about half of season 1, when he discovered something, he made a 180º turn into a gloomy whiner that seemed to not care about anything unless FL draged him around and that lasted until the end of the show.

You are looking too far into it. sML likes FL. FL is very fond of sML, even liked him at some point. sML and FL get constant romantic and sweet scenes between them during the entire show. Get the annoying love triangles the frak out of good shows.

Before the get together there are 2 moments FL wasnt very nice.
1. They were almost acting like a couple, and then in one episode she missunderstands he has a son. And she starts completly ignoring him for an entire episode, not even talking to him when they are together. It was both ridiculous and mean. She also never aplogizes for it, when it is cleared up they just laugh.... but she was terrible in that episode
2. Again, they were almost like a couple. She gets tipsy and kisses him. Not a small kiss, they make out for a while. The next day he aproaches her like if they were a couple, and she rejects him. And quite harshly. Reason is just because some months later she is going to study abroad. But hte most annoying part is that ML goes full simp and its him who continues to pursue and convince her, instead of being mad and FL making up for it later. Typical drama doble standards. In every drama ML does this, he needs to spend several episodes making up for it while FL is offended and ignores him.
Still, when they get together, FL makes up for all that. She goes full lovely dovy towars him 100%
About love triangles. Well FL starts in another sinking relationship. And when it ends their parents make her go to a blind date. But no, you cant say there is a love triangle there. As soon as the date starts both agre they are not interested and that guy is MLs friends and helps him
Theres a girl that likes ML. But ML pays 0 attentionm to her and as soon as he notices she likes him, he sends her away to another department, so I wouldnt call this even a mild triangle either.
Besides the 2 points I mention above, there is no missunderstandings or quarrels between the leads at all

Oh, theres a reason why she did it? Like in every drama ML does something "wrong". There is always a reason. In you are my glory its because he feels inferior to her, he has financial strains and doesnt feel like he is on her level. In Forever Love its because 2 reasons, he wants her to concentrate on her exams and he wants to search for way to enter her same university, in love is sweet its because he needs to go undercover to help her, in many many dramas its to protect her from X....
And yet in all of them, ML didnt only need to apologize, he had to spend several episodes doing so and earning her back while FL acted all offended, entitled and like she doesnt want anything to do with him anymore.
Yet when FL does it.... well she had a reason.
All had their reasons. And none deserved to need to apology for 5 episodes, but all needed to make one good apology. Yet FLs do none and MLs do 5 episodes. (of course there are a few exceptions, but they are just that, exceptions).

imagine a drama where ML does what FL did in this one. he wouldn't just need to apologize, he would spend several episodes apologizing and needing to work to earn her back. actually you don't need to imagine it, just watch any drama where ML rejects FLs confession, and see how much effort he has to do to win her back. example: you are my glory. but there's tons. what that other guy is describing is a real cdrama trope, not some misogynist ideas. too many dramas make ML do something "wrong", just to exploit the guilty pleasure of him apologizing. and usually several episodes. but when FL does something wrong, she usually doesn't even need to apologize.
I am loving the show but after their "problem" Im starting to get annoyed about their little interactions. I dont want them to have any contact at all until she does a big apology. All those little interactions like they are trying to be cute again.... No way until she apologizes. I really hope they dont make them just slowly get together again like nothing happened.
