Is this true? It's enough for me to not watch it. Although some dramas are so good that this doesnt matter. But they have to be sooooo good to be worth (looking at you Encounter)

Well what you say makes some kind of sense.
But I still think, of all the nonesense missunderstandings roamance dramas usually have, this one (not telling the girl you like that she was lied to about you dating another girl), is the most ridiculous of them all.

The show even ends with her not knowing that fact. Even if all you say is true: first he couldnt contact her, then he was mad, and so on.... not ever bringing up that very important fact in all the times they spoke, makes no sense. I think the show ended with something similar to "I know I will regret it, but I choose him". Well, if he would just tell her that he only chased her after that point, that he never dated that other girl, that sentence wouldnt even need to be there.

Just finished it. This drama is awesome, but the middle episodes made it quite a bit worse. I would give it a 10 if they would just remove 6 episodes from the middle.

Before they are dating, it is already awesome. Tons of chemistry bertween them. I like that a lot. Many romances dont start to feel sweet until they start dating. I love romances like Encounter or A piece of your mind, when the leads are great together even before dating. This one is one of those few.

After they get together, this show is just one satisfying moment after another. It's just a pleasure to watch it.

But in the middle of those 2 phases, theres a part which is unsatisfying, boring and far too long. I didnt like that part at all, and it's the reason I dont give this show a 10. not only was that part unsatisfying, but it also made the get together less satisfying for me than if it would have happened without that part. They looked sad while getting together because of what happened. They were so cute together at the start part and it would have been awesome to see them get together then.

Anyway, that part is just 6 out of 32 episodes, so that leaves 25 episodes of pure awesomeness (Im not bad at maths, episode 10 is also boring :P)

I have never watched romances in my entire live. I started almost a year ago, and I must say I just want happy stuff. I dont mind tragedies in action/thriller/suspense or other genres. But in a romance... it's not what Im looking for.

What did I not understand then? I agree with everything you say happened... And exactly because it is like that, the moment he realized what happened (the lie of the other girl) anybody interested in FL would have run to her to tell her. He didn't run, he didn't tell her, he didn't even answer when directly asked about it. While clearly showing he is crazy about her.
What makes sense about that, even if trying to portrait toxic characters?

But there was some sweetness between them on the first 14 episodes I think they never recovered. There was always a lingering sarcasm, between them after that separation. She used to shine with happiness and a bit of shyness when she watched him before... After that part the sadness of what happened always seems to linger on the back a bit...
Maybe it's me, but the happiness I would have felt if they got together without that separation happening, was never recovered.
And another problem is the length of it. 6 episodes was far too long. They could have conveyed the same situation in 2 episodes. They were not only annoying but also boring.
Just nitpicking a bit, the show is still awesome and sweet.

Yes, that's what I said above. This show is awesome, but I'm at 27 and still mad about those 7 episodes in the middle

They get together about 60% into episode 21. And its not even beautiful, instead of getting together in a happy moment, like they could have before, they are both looking sad and gloomy when they get together because of what happened.

I usually love the get together part, but it just happened and Im more exasperated about how they did it than happy. Such a wasted opportunity, they were so great togethger before those 7 nonesense episodes

I binged enduring through them. I cant imagine when this was released, people waiting for 1 week expecting them to make up, just to get an awful episode 7 times in a row

Why do so many comments say they get together on 19? Im half into episode 21 and they are still not together. Loved 1-14, but 15-21 is terrible. What should have been 2 episodes max, has already been almost 7

Ive spent 14 episodes telling my friends that I think I found my new favourite romance... and then this 7 episodes happened. WTF

haha yes. I usually like when they kiss a lot, not because I want to see a kiss specifically, but because it shows affection obviously. This show hasnt any kisses and I still didnt miss them. The hugs made up for them

It's definately too long. I was LOVING the show. But its almost 5 boring as hell episodes. If they wanted to do this they should have done it for 1 or maximum 2 episodes.

IMO korean dramas are better, but they also have more tragedies and missunderstandings. Since I like happy stuff, Im starting to watchg more and more chinese romances. They arent as good, but much more lighthearted

Just finished it. It has very cool things, and very annoying things.
All in all.... Id say it's good. The story is good and there are many satisfying moments. It's a pitty there are also very unsatisfying moments. Otherwise it would be an awesome show.

Really? I only watched 3 episodes but he looks like the moron sML from heirs, just interested in her for the sake of screwing with ML
