hehe ok, maybe Ill check it out. The other drama was City Hunter. I was enjoying it a lot, but then those five last episodes of beeing separated with only a few seconds of meeting at the end left me unsatisfied.

I didnt like FL either, but Vincenzo is amazin, secondary characters are cool, bromance is amazing, and FL while bad, isnt terrible.

I didnt quite like the FL either, but I still enjoyed the show a lot. It's also not terrible, she is indecisive but at least she keeps interested and flirting until they get together.

Thanks for the heads up, I think Ill pass. I hated the ending of another show of the same ML when after 5 episodes of beeing separated, the ending was just ML and FL meeting and looking at eachother for 4 seconds.

Really? I havent seen asian dramas who focus on kissing and bed scenes, they all try to avoid it as far as Ive seen. Holding hands is like the previous step to marrying :P

I enjoyed it a lot. Romance without rollercoaster of ups and downs.
It's true the 25 year old characters behave like 14 year kids who need 3 dates before holding hands, but I think it's something normal in asian shows.
Nonetheless, I give it an 8.7 and had a very good time watching it.
Ending is good, if somebody wonders (and everything up to the ending too :P)

Can't disagree more. I find the female lead not attractive at all. At all. And I still loved the series and her romance. So no, it isnt because of the looks.

If you want a romance without the usual rollercoaster, watch it. Very enjoyable, and not only the romance but the sideromance too are very satisfactory.

I think it deserves more rating than it has. It is a bit too long, 16 episodes would have been more than enough instead of 20.
For anybody who only likes happy endings, it has one.

Yesterday when I had watched 15/20 episodes, I was debating between rating it a 9 or 9.5.
Now, after finishing it, I am debating between 7 or 8. Man, what a letdown. I was enjoying it so much. It would have been so easy to get over a 9 from me.

This show isnt tagged as a romance. Yet, for the first 15 episodes, there is more romance than anything else. The last 5 episodes, they focus on the intrigue and story part, and almost forget the romance, which is totally fine. Except they leave it totally hanging and dont even finish it right at the end of the show. Its such an anticlimatic ending.

I didnt start this show for the romance, but if you use 15 episodes to build up a romance, you cant then leave it hanging for the last 5 episodes, with a 5 second scene to finish it.

It may be a stupid reason but for me this lowered my score 2 full points.

It's 2021 , 7 years after this review, and how you described it with "an addictive drug with bad side effects" is totally accurate for me.
On the other hand, I think the female protagonist did a good job. I think she acted exactly how her role was supposed to be. Except the final kiss. OMG what was that
