In the last episode at 1:24:00, Hyun woo was about to say something but he holds back and instead just ends with 'please be well'. He walks away and is already busy with his work. While Min Young is hit with a deja vu when he says 'nice clothes' and stands confused but she doesn't look or search for Hyun Woo.
So yeah, its kinda clear that she's confused but doesn't have any kind of feelings for Hyun Woo. Also, she's still loves Do Joon, While Hyun Woo moved from the Do Joon life, so its for sure there's going to be no romance with Min Young and Hyun Woo.

No for two reasons.
Hyun woo already decided to move one with his life.
Min Young doesn't know that Hyun woo was in Do joon's body.

NO. Because no matter if hyun woo went in past as do joon or not, Do joon would have suffered the same thing. Do joon was liked by his grandpa, hated by his uncles and killed in a accident which would be covered up that very few outside the family would know him.
Hyun woo did not change anything. The outcomes were the same but he utilized the foresight to his advantage. All the events happened the same as before. Nothing changed. Min Young was single. Do Joon died in a car accident. The eldest grandson became the vice-chairman. Sooyang motors still was sold after the apollo success. grandpa escaped the flight accident. 9/11 happened. soonyang became the electronics giant. Seo taji split and the leader later debuted solo.
Also, (MY/DJ's) relationship is the same. Hyun woo might have done things differently. yeah, the real do joon might have just guessed a few things.
The conclusion is Hyun woo changed nothing, he just was aware of the outcomes.

it's not. jin do Joon died so did the romance. hyun woo was interested. but he liked her when he was do joon. she liked him when he do Joon too. so it got closed when he died.

Vincenzo started of good but got boring/cliche after ep 6. they forced an Italian Mafia into a Korean savor archetype.
descendants of sun is similar to every other hallyu drama. made of fantasy people. the plot is always low to keep the shine on the cast.
webtoon shows that hyun woo remains as do Joon. gets married to min young and owns soonyang group. for a drama this is too simple. thats why the writers made it seem like repentance for forgetting the accident and becoming an accomplice unknowingly.

Me too. I binged watched this yesterday. I liked the ending too.
Infact, the drama had a better ending then web toon. In the web toon, Do Joon becomes Soonyang chairman, marries Min Young and Hyun Woo dies when he was kidnapped.

Plot holes? Like what?

Hyun Woo thought it was a regular accident and assumed his superiors were just covering it up as an accident too. You can read my answer for the first plot hole.
1. Hyun Woo, was involuntarily involved in the murder which was made to be an accident.
2. He did his job as an employee to follow the orders.
3. He was framed for embezzlement by his employee.

First, Hyun Woo was sent to that location without any info. He stopped the vehicle and tried to contact his superior. Then Do Joon just stopped the car had a dejavu moment when he saw Hyun Woo talking on the phone and a truck coming from behind. Truck crashes and Hyun Woo is shocked and scared. He sees Do Joon but is not aware of him as Hyun Woo was new to the company. Remember that he spent all his time working and did not have time to know what's happening in the business world.
While Hyun Woo saw Do Joon and was still shocked, his superior still on the phone asks him to return to the office quick. In the office, his superior asked him to forget everything and gives him a job in Soonyang. Hyun Woo accepts it due to his financial and family issues. By this time, the Soonyang family is already hid the existence of Do Joon (4-2). When Hyun Woo started working in Soonyang, there was no mention of 4-2. So he naturally forgot about the accident and never knew about Do Joon.
But Hyun Woo becoming Do Joon made him realize, that there was 4-2 in Soonyang family. Then as Do Joon when he was in the accident and sees himself as Hyun Woo, he realizes that he became an accomplice for Do Joon's murder. That's why he calls his 17 years as Do Joon was sort of repentance for forgetting and ignoring the obvious crime of murder.
So, to reiterate, Hyun Woo thought it was a regular accident and assumed his superiors were just covering it up as an accident too.

I agree about SJK. But the drama did not try to only rely on him much but use the characters to drive the plot.

Vincenzo was complete non sense. This is the only drama that Soon Joong Ki which has a plot and the plot was great.

Its a perfect ending. everyone ended up in the right places.

He is rich. He becomes the partner of miracle investment that he himself created when he was jin do joon.

The plot is loosely based on Samsung chaebol family. Its true that drama uses a lot business jargon. But they always explain the result of those business actions so it should be fine.

I think the drama handled both well. The grandpa did everything he wanted and the romance ended because jin do joon never gave up his goal to control soonyang.

It gets better. Ignore the loveline as its barely available. The plot is great but involves a lot of business jargon. So you skip those parts and watch the drama. Because the drama really does its best to keep the mystery till last episode. Songjoongki's dramas are weak on plot and rely on his brand value. But this drama made his brand value as secondary. The cast was great at portraying the characters. Give it a go.

It might be stupid if we view it from today's perspective but 1960s was still a patriarchal society and a women were heavily dependent on men to have proper life in society. Also, she committed a crime for her lover, who only ended up rejecting her after knowing that fact. So she's just lost in guilt and regret.

they don’t need a label. they share feelings, are comfortable with each other and are living together too. the whole point of this drama was to forget about labels and cherish people you love.

i believe they’ll most likely start dating. they have feelings for each other and pretty much are living together.
