If you like the actors and fantasy in general, then maybe. Else its just another drama that you can skip.

Completely worth it. I just rewatched it for the fifth time. The "ruining of her marriage" will be clearly explained. Give it a watch. You'll definitely like it. This drama was hit when aired even though it had a not so famous cast.

I do agree about the drinking. This common trend to drink yourself out of misery.

Watch the complete drama before you make such misinformed comments.

I was really disappointed to see comments like the OP. I don't know if they understood what the drama was trying to show or did not watch the show completely. If this drama had famous ML or FL leads everyone would be drooling over this. I find this drama far better than most popular dramas that are just cringe(though this drama is not perfect too).
I rewatched this drama for the fifth time today. Everytime I'm impressed by dialogues and scenes. Seo Hyun Jin really did her best. No wonder this was huge hit when it aired, that the drama was extended by two episodes and again had two extra specials.
Finally, I agree with all the points you have made. I really hope your comment will make people think differently about dramas in general. Not sure why people take works of fiction too seriously.

Seems like you just watched the first episode only. Watch the episode 17 to find what actually happened and who is the real evil one. Spoiler alert its neither the groom nor the producer.

I understand your frustration but the drama did redeem FL. They didn't justify anything but merely just showed different perspectives. BTW I agree it's not perfect.

"Everyone treats the FL like trash" - Well she has low self esteem and is a pushover, so she's a prime target for cowards and bullies. This changes later though.
"ruin her life without reason" - What are you talking about? It was a misunderstanding. Almost 10 episodes were spent to show his guilt and her recover from that.
"female antagonist as well" - In her case it was her own issues and she was rarely genuine with people. She relied on her beauty and popularity for her regular relationships.
"we are supposed to think it's ok because SFL's family wasn't as affectionate as FL's?" - The drama didn't approve it. They just showed her sided of the events. Also, this drama doesn't force on you right or wrong. It just shows you scenes from different perspectives. They just show SFLs issues.
"constant bullying towards FL" - FL had a lot of problems of her own. Not good in academics or schools in general. Average looks. Not wealthy. Was unlucky(this was a little exaggerated). Also, I think it seems like she just suffers a lot because most of the episodes are in the span of a few months. So she would definitely be down and pitiful.
"Also no redemption and literally NO REVENGE or punishment against SFL" - She got her's. Her perfect life was broken. Most people knew how she ran away from her wedding. Her love was not returned and she was humiliated by ML. She lost her love to the FL whom she looked down/pitied and was jealous. Her image was ruined and she ended up the way she was afraid off, receiving pity from others cause for family issues. MLs mother also shamed her multiple times.

True. The first time watch wasn't that great for me too. But the rewatches(just completed my fifth time) were amazing. This drama has some amazing scenes and Seo Hyun Jin carried this whole drama.

I see a lot negative comments and the rating too is just average.
First the title is click baiting because actual title is 'Marraige white paper' which I think is a metaphor that just like life, marriage too is what you make it to be.
Also in my opinion it was good drama. Not because of the characters but the concept itself. For the first time, we get to see problems from both persceptive and neither is just yeilding to the other. Real issues of couples before marriage is well potratyed. The solution too provided were plausible.
I liked this a lot and I too agree that the characters were bad. FL was cute sometimes though. Just ignore everything and watch it for the concept.

There are good ones. I have watched almost all the family weekend dramas. See my completed list and find the highly rated 50 or 100 episode dramas.
It is my observation that MBC has the worst dramas. KBS has the regular wholesome family with troubles, so basically moderate makjang. SBS has a few good ones that actually have great emotions and good plot. jtbc was similar too, though they have only a few dramas.

Son Yejin-like face is extremely popular in South Korea, Japan and China. I find it nauseating but yeah its so famous there that many people undergo surgeries and some even use apps to achieve the face shape.

I am unsure why he choose to break up. Yumi had a good enough reason. I didn't mind them breaking up because just as he said both of them are on different wavelengths about love and marriage. I don't think they would last any longer even if they married. Both choose pride when they had to be honest.(woong when he left yumi's home. Yumi choosing to breakup as she didn't want to follow her previous relationship. Even during the hotel scene both were prideful.)
I was tempted to check the manhwa but the art is just too cartoonish, so I checked the final chapter only to find out who she finally ends up with.
