GOD KNOWS WHAT I'M GOING TO DO WITH MY LIFE WHEN EXTRAORDINARY YOU IS OVER :(
You'll be fine and find another drama for which you'll feel the same. This is a repetitive process. But you'll surely remember this drama once in a while and maybe re-watch it for a change. (Tell this with an experience of watching 300+ dramas)
That's exactly how I felt when I watched Sky Castle. Ye Seo character is tailored for her.
I have seen some articles with negative criticism about her acting. But then I read an interview by her talking to try something different from Sky Castle. I think she succeeded and I am only watching the drama for her character. Usually I like female leads for beauty or charisma but KHY absorbed the character really well that I like her for the character and I skip every scene that she's not in. This drama is nothing without KHY. Anyways thanks for your reply!!!
i was going to ignore this drama, but decided to watch after many seeing articles about its ratings. But this drama is too good. The female lead is just amazing. The character seemed like its tailored for her. Though the obvious cliche scenes are irritating.
Korean values really baffle me as a western lady. That’s the only thing that I didn’t like. It always seems…
Yeah, and its funny how those same children try to control their children's lives too. Its a cycle which can't be broken because Asians are more family oriented, unlike the west where individual is more important(a recent phenomenon).
I wish kdramaland had more of this type like Age of Youth, WWW, and The Nature of MeloGreat female characters…
Jin joo is the one writing the script and among the three she has a lot more going on like script writing, ex bf, new bf, friends and coworkers. Han Joo's character did have any major events other than her coworker. Eun Jung could have been better, but her character would just make the whole drama sad. I think her character was best portrayed in drama. For me Han joo was the least interesting of all the characters in the drama. I often skipped her parts. Jin Joo is my second favorite in the drama, she had many amazing quotes. Eun Jung was the best, she portrayed the pain very well.
I kind of hated the end ...felt sorry for his first wife , and it keep lengthening at end , any how fine drama…
It's not as easy as you think it is! He wants to build a nation and the marriage was necessary to keep the budding nation stable. He married out of no choice and was pained by the fact that his wife is dead. Also So Seo no, saw what happened with jumong and his brothers. She made a wise decision by choosing South and Establishing a kingdom(Baekje). So it was clearly a win-win for both.
