I do agree though that she may have assumed that her father and bro have everything under control. I also think YWY is intercepting the intel of her bro. She is always with lanxi, the only time they actually hid was when she was injured. So I dont think it was really that difficult to find her. Someone must be preventing here to go back immediately.

I know BFX loves lanxi so much and she wants to help him but It bothers me that BFX did not go home immediately after learning that Qingzhou is threatened. I at least want her to have a proper family reunin before she loose his father and brother.

Exactly! It was so out of character that BFX and FLX cannot even deduce that everytime some shit happens, YWY is somewhere near. Tian Shuang people are so stupid, like how did this sect even survived this long. Like, people she’s been with you for so long, why would she kill her master with poison, right after she talk to him. She can kill him without everyone knowing she met him that night.

Truth! You have the 2 most powerful people around you and you instead decided to confront the villain by yourself. I guess his daughther took after his shortsightedness.

Also, its so out of character that FLX and BFX cannot even deduce WYW’s involvement. Like he’s suddenly there and the next day someone’s dead.

I love that the 3 main female characters are smart and capable! They can form a team and just conquer the states. They can also just make the 3 gentlemen serve them tea. 😅

Alright, YY’s acting is indeed great and it was definitely one of most heartbreaking scenes in the drama. BUT, I don’t understand why he has to do that? For his enemies to lower there guards? Why can’t he just stop being a fool for his unredeamable family? What is he trying to prove exactly? Or What exactly is this character’s goal in this drama? I’m seriously at lost now. Nothing is making any sense to me.

As for BFX, I feel bad for this character really. In the past 25++ eps, she was portrayed as a carefree, kind and gorgeous lady, who has 3 men who likes her and a family who loves her. Only for everything in her life to go south in the last 9 or less eps. Like, at least give her a decent arc, the girl desrves it.

Anyhow, again, I’m still staying for the sexual tension, flirting and we love to stare at each others eyes moments..

I totally agree with this. There is so much potential in Churan’s and Huang Chao’s characters but they barely have any screen time at the beggining of the story. Now the are just squeezing their arcs without proper development.

I love the 4 Royals (Chu Ran, Huang Chao, Lanxi & Xiyun). I wish they put more story on this 4 instead of just focusing on Lanxi’s dysfunctional royal family.

Huang Chao and Chu Ran are not actually bad. Huang Chao just wants to unify the states and be the one to lead that. He may be cunning but he isn’t corrupt and abusive. Chu Ran wants to rule because she knows she will be a better ruler than all her bros combined. She was never a choice just because she’s a woman not because she cannot lead.

I too cannot comprehend how he cannot see or even have doubts about BFX’s identity.

We can only say he’s a real fool in love. He trust her so much. That’s why when he ask her why she knows info that only royals would know, he just accepted whichever answer BFX gave him.

We can also say the his image of Xiyun is totally different from BFX, that to him Xiyun would never act as wild as BFX. That no royal would actually be as carefree as BFX.

What bothers me more is how long are they going to drag the identity issue. 😅

Agree 💯. Should have advertised this as costume, political and romance drama, instead of wuxia. I also hope the other actors were paid generously despite their barely minimum screen time.

I did separate the novel and the drama. What bothers me is that they introduce the character had them appear for a few minutes then get lost in the politics again. Like, what’s the point of these characters in the drama? They are not even contributing to the conflicts at al. 😂😂

I’ve totally given up on the wuxia part of this drama. 😂 It’s nothing but a fancy political drama with good looking casts. Prince Hao is underused. He was supposed to take over everything at the end and ML’s rival in practically everything. WYW atleast had the chance to scheme against the ML. The princess from the other state should have played a big part too but at this point I’m not too sure how they will squeeze her arc in the story. The FL and 2FL will only have screentime if ML needs assisstance and some sweet time.

At this point, I’m just enjoying the romance, visuals of the cast, ost and cinematography.

Have you seen preview 27-28? It will continue to drag. The ML has done nothing at all to work on his ambition to have the world. 😂😂 I just totally gave up on the wuxia part.

They’re still at Yong Zhou and carrying out a dysfunctional royal family drama. 😂 😂 YWY at least found a temporary cure from his curse and schemed his way to elimate the ML. 30 episodes in to the series and th ML has not done anything grand yet to achieve the world. He atleast went big with his “confessions”, though it all failed (epicly). 😂😂

After yesterday’s preview, I’ve totally given up on the wuxia part. I’m just expecting a single final war, then that’s probably it. Their budget must have gone to all that fancy costumes and probaby YY’s fee. I’m too just enjoying the sizzling chemistry between the leads and their antics, the parade of good looking men, the cinematography, the OSTs And of course the great acting from all the casts.

This is a YY drama, period. I’m not hating though. Reality is, he is indeed the bigger star here. But I find it a little unfair to say that YY, hard carried this drama. All actors in this drama are great in their role. It just so happens that YY hords all the screen time. 😂 Again, not hating here. He deserves all the popularity.

As a Lusi fan, I am just thankful that she was given a chance to work on a big prod drama and with big stars like YY. She may have little screen but she acted really well. I am happy that she is gaining popularity in a steady phase.

Looks like it will finally be the final straw for him. Based on the preview the villains will be using the FL’s sect too to threaten him. That’s practically waking up the beast mode in him. If there’s one thing he really can’t tolerate it is his precious love being hurt. A scratch on her made him so furious, what more if they use her to threaten him.

I too have come to terms that this is a YangYang centered drama. The YongZhou arc would continue till the latter episodes. Ep 26 preview shows that the arc will continue to drag. I think they only showed the FL’s side of the family because most FL’s fans our already complaining and there are comments that YY hard carried this drama (how can he not? It’s practically his character’s story). 😂

I’ve actually skip all those parts already. They spent more than half of the drama on ML’s Royal family angst.
