In the preview, Jinmu will mess with Naksu’s soul. That’s practically helping Naksu regain her memory though.. and since her memory is also connected to Bu Yeon’s divine powers, it will also bring back that divine powers.

I have a feeling that Bu Yeon /Naksu will probably need some time/training to be able to remove the ice stone from UK or to be the most powerful priestess. And that’s how they will fall in love again. They seem to be reversing/paralleling a lot of the story line from S1. As much as I want this to be a happy ending, I felt ep1 was a foreshadowing. Scarlet feels. One will stay a live with a baby, a very powerful one at that. 😭

Can you please help me understand. I am a random fan of Lusi but I don’t really follow her religously until LLTG. 😅 Why are cnetz so critical of her? Like every little things she does, there is something to complaint about her. I even read tweets saying she has a sugar daddy? But I also saw a tweet that she’s 2nd gen rich and have good connections. There are too that says all her pics are always edited. But isnt this true to most if not all of chinese selcas? 😅😅😅😅 China always has the best set of cam filters or beauty cams.

Totally agree. It just does not make any sense that Jin Mu was able to control her just like that. Was JBY on vacation mode, coz all through out this season she was like the back up plan (though unknowingly) of Uk and Mudeok whenever things get bad.

I really dont care about the change of actress in S2. What I would mind is if the FL is STILL not on HER OWN body. I want the FL, whoever she is, to be her own body and soul. May it be taking revenge or falling inlove again, she needs to be her own person this time. Literally her.

S1 has already established the whole alchemy of soul thingy. It’s time to go hard on the villain and marry at least one pair of character off 😂.

If the damn villain does not get expose in the first 2 episode or the FL will be the soul of the pristess, I’ll drop it. And sad to say, it seems that the love square is not going to be dropped for S2. I can see them falling inlove with the same girl all over again, coz why not? Right writernim? 😂

I actually don’t want them to work with each other again just yet. May after 3-5 years. A more mature role or story suitable for their age. As for the shippers, I am one of them. 😂 But I don’t see then dating anytime soon or at all. 😂 It’s kinda fun watching how fans overthinks and overinterprets their every single actions. I’ve said this before, they seem to be the type who would date someone atleast 5 yrs older than them or someone from a different profession.

I still cannot move on from how they did SS’s character dirty at the end. How can depression be a sign of maturity? Also, she forgave him because he’s in the brink of death?

Unpopular opinion about the drama not ending with a wedding. To me they did actually have a wedding under those sparkling stars. Those stars are considered by both of them as HBY’s entire family/clan and the empress (dead love ones become stars). Their affirmation of each other’s importance in their lives is practically their wedding vow. The Cheng Fam is with them too. Practically a wedding. My only complaint is, why did they not include HBY’s guard in that scene.

Ikr 😑 I really feel disappointed that they did that to SS. She was too depressed. I dont think a resilient SS is not realistic. She said it herself she will live for herself, that she will still live even without LBY. Yet they transformed her to a emo girl. Then when she forgave him, its because she thought he was dying. What was that? As for the wedding. HBY and SS in an unconventional couple, the way they affirmed each others worth in each others lives under the sparkling stars is practically them
exchanging wedding vows. It was perfect in a sense that they consider those stars as the empress and HBY’s entire family/clan. Not to mention the entire cheng fam is with them, so its actually a wedding with all the people they love.

I’m glad someone shares the same opinion as me. They both become depressed and in emo mode. For someone as determine and resilient as both of them, it was so out of character. 😜

If you haven’t read the novel, the last few episodes would still feel a bit rush and the last arc felt like it came from nowhere. However you would be able to appreciate the angst and the character growth. SS did really mature in the drama version. Though I reckon, she also become a totally different person. I dont hate how LLTG ended. It was still as beautiful and amazing as it was when it began, even more. Still my best Cdrama in a decade and I know. WL and ZLS would always be my ultimate OTP and their chemistry would live rent free in my mind.

Piece of advise, if your curious about the novel dont read yet, better if you dont read it at all. For a novel reader like me, the disappointment was true. We had our expectations even before the drama premiered and that made a lot of difference. I had to give myself 12hours of sleep and a good iced coffee 😅 to rewatch the last 8 episodes so I can appreciate the drama again.

Again, LLTG is still the best CDrama I’ve seen. Totally at par with any SK drama. I, for the first time stan a chinese actor. Leo is such a talent. Lusi will be forever my girl. I just hope China wont sleep on my baby girl. She deserves all the love.

They did SS dirty after the revenge arc. She was never depressed. She loves hin still but she was determined to start a new with or without a love interest. She was as fiesty and passionate as she was when she was 15, only wiser and more composed. She may have swayed to anything that would remind her of LBY/HBY but she was never depressed to the point of cutting her whole family off. That part of the drama really threw me off.

I knew the story will go loose the moment they showed the breaking up scene. That scene was supposed to be intense. I would have love to see a histerical and desperate LBY/HBY when the empressed and SS requested to call off the engagement, but they all went all EMO and depressed.

Another hard scene to swallow was the SS forgiving LBY/HBY scene. Why do they always do this to her? Push her to the point that she has no choice but to give in to them? She forgave HBY because she thought he’s dying. 🤷🏻‍♀️ In the novel, she forgave HBY because she realized that he truly loves her. She emphasized to HBY that if ever he is forgiven and accepted again its not because she needs to repay his kindness or because she is pressured.

I hope that fans of the drama can understand the disappointment that we, novel fans are feeling at the moment. WL and ZLS did a perfect portrayal of LBY/HBY and SS, it was so difficult not to picture them doing those intense and great scenes. Not to mention, the drama had been true to the novel (at least 90%) until the revenge arc, only for them to make a huge U turn in the last 6 or 8 episodes. Like, of all the part that could have been dropped (the princess arc could have been cut down) from the novel, you just have to choose the most anticipated parts. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t think they filmed that part. They went all emo and depressed after the revenge. I did SS dirty in the last 6 episodes.

I had mixed emotion when I finished it. They have 90% stayed true to the novel, until the reconciliation part. I had a bad feeling when they ended their engagement, it was calm but angsty. That part should have been histerical and desperate in LBY ‘s part. From their everything just went downhill for me. I didnt like that they portrayed SS as a depressed love-sicked fool. She was still inlove with LBY during that 5 years but she wasnt depressed to the point that she cut everyone off. I was looking for the desperate LBY/HBY, not just because I like that part of the novel but because WL and ZLS could have portrayed that part perfectly. This is what really disappoints the novel fans, ZLS and WL acted so well and was so perfect for the role that it was so difficult to not picture them do those scenes.

I hate the fact the I read the novel because I was actually waiting for the good scenes at the end.

Just when I thought I’m too old to be a “ship” fanatic, LLTG happens. 😭 Wu Lei and Zhou Lusi looks like the type who will date someone older that them. However I can help but hope that they will see each other in a different light in the years to come. They just look so good together. 😘😘

Btw, Wu Lei’s actions scenes and Zhao Lusi’s crying and angsty scenes will definitely live rent free in my mind forever.

The succeeding episodes will be satisfying for those who hasn’t read the novel but a little disappointing for the ones who read and anticipated some part of the novel. The reconcialiation was full of angst but I was expecting more.
