"They act immature"" They don't want to try and make it work out""They could have considered adoption" They could have done a lot of things differently but you know, i think this drama meant to show that people don't act maturely all the time, they back away from anything they expect that might cause them hurt, they get scared,they get intimidated by their own emotions and thoughts, by past experiences, by fervent wishes upon which they get so hang up on thst they reach the point where they can ruin a relationship over something that to others seems to have an obvious answer and they get tired of even trying. People are flawed and fallible. Even in drama.
They put many hidden scenes like that. Apparently as long as they didnt show direct skinship apart from hugs of course,they managed to get around it very well.
Coming back here to say this. He fell in love with Sun Ae but was a coward who decided to replace her in his eyes with Bong Sun simply because she is alive. Also I'm really vexed over how Bong Sun by the end of the drama seemed to have taken over Sun Ae's life in both her family and romance. That scene in the restaurant was meant to show that life continues after loss but not even a photo or a mention of Sun Ae? Really now? The only solid character was the shaman.

Yes. In the script in general they were heavily reminded to avoid showing their kissing scenes. We know they happened thanks to the smart play of the writer and the director. Also the vows at the last episode were originally meant to take place in a church but the church raised a fuss which infuriated the writer but at the end they had to move the location to the forest. They did they best they could considering the situation
Rewatching this i can't help but be vexed over the fact that they had no issue showing lightheartedly (in many cases) the victim blaming and blatant misogyny poor sooja had to live through when at the same time they thought that it was inappropriate to show taesub and kyungsoo kissing and ordered to edit it out despite it being evident how much they loved each other. Apparently seeing a woman getting hit and belittled was more acceptable than two guys kissing ....but I guess that was also a thing that this drama addressed among others.
This is what happens when you cant disguise the transmigration plot properly due to censorship... The plot gets messy AND completely messed up. Not that the original is much better but at least you don't have a plus one messy plotline...
