Yup he felt "responsible" for her but didnt show much care for the fl especially when he kept dismissing her VALID frustration to the situation and to add insult to the injury his entire family knew what was going on and they were actually ok with it.
This is a good drama but it could have been better if they paid more attention in keeping things together. They knew what they wanted to do with this drama but didnt quite manage to bring it to life. This drama feels... Loose. Like a very beautiful dress that is a bit too big for you. You can still enjoy wearing it but it won't fit perfectly and it can be bothersome at times.
How is this not a love story? In each and every step of the way those two proved how much they loved each other in such difficult times. Sure there is no sizzling romance or burning pathos but there was certainly deep and profound love and affection.
I might be the only one irked off by this but the wife didnt deserve the treatment she got. Even if she ended up happy in the end. This might sound rude and harsh but he could have chosen a different path. He failed to consider his wife's feelings as important every step on the way. He should have been honest with her no matter how hard that was. She deseved an explanation before hurting her. As a person you have no right to create an illusion, lure people in thinking that they are getting married to someone that they think reciprocates if not their feelings at least the same mindset about marriage only to find out they were hiding their true self and were lying to you about the whole thing for years. He could have been honest to her.
That doesnt mean it isn't good drama. It is good and painfully realistic one might say.
