I am talking about the characters rather than the story itself. They aren't meant to be likeable. They have flaws, they make a dozen of mistakes, they show their dark side and don't really follow common logic. The drama doesn't really aim to please the audience. It is quite a mess ( ̄‐ ̄)
I just finished watching it and Noh Min Woo has an amazing death scene. Man, he needs to be given more serious…
his performance in midas was excellent. from losing weight DURING filming to show the effects of treatment, to the pain scenes, that melancholic sadness but also acceptance over his fate, and of course that death scene! i agree 100%, he really needs more serious roles. his talent is being wasted otherwise.
For me, this drama was like a balloon losing air. the moment the romance between K2 and Anna took the spotlight, it was game over. trying to push a couple with little to no chemistry takes the fun out of the romance in kdrama. it would have been better for je ha and anna to just have amity instead of love. raniya and je ha's story was enough romance for me. i hoped for the drama to end up magnificently, even if that meant tragedy for K2 . in the end of the day the most interesting character proved out to be choi yoo jin.
