I love bad guys but that in no way means I would forgive them or pity them, Idc how sad ur childhood was or how…
Wang So is one of my favorite characters and the Wang So/Hae Soo couple is one of my favorite couples. However, I was never angry with Hae So since she stayed with him despite his choices with the princess, and only did what she did out of love under her special circumstances.
But I will always be angry with the writer for having Hae So, Wang So, and Jeong react to easily resolved misunderstandings with such foolish and uncharacteristic choices that lead to tragic consequences.
Funny you mentioned cruel city bc I am currently sleep deprived from binging cruel city.
Every time I choose to watch an episode of Cruel City to pass some time, I end up binging my favorite parts and I still end up on crying jags throughout. LOL
Many of the characters you listed are among my absolute favorite and beloved ! They are charismatic, determined, and fiercely devoted to those few people they love. And due to their intense nature, their chemistry is always off the charts with both loved ones and enemies - male and female alike.
I would also add to the bad guys I actually love...
Yi Yoong / King Yeon Sang Un ( Lee Dong Gun) - Queen for Seven Days Jo Min Hyeok ( Ji Sung ) - Secret Oh Ji Soo (Kim Dong Hee) - Extracurricular
The bad boys I love to hate...
Lee Kwang Il [Loan shark] (Jang Ki Yong) - My Mister Do Joon Young [CEO] ( Kim Young Min - My Mister Min Seok Hoon ( Yeon Jung Hoon) - Mask
And bad boys that I love and hate are in the following dramas but I will not name them to avoid spoilers...
Pros: The Main Couple, The villain couple, The Soundtrack, and the wardrobe of the female lead and sister in law. Cons: The loan sharks, The female lead's annoying family, and the dept. store co-workers. the male lead's mother. I love this couple and the cons are just slightly annoying compared to the overall experience. I have enjoyed many rewatches and it remains one of my many favorites.
I remember enjoying this drama a lot in 2015 but I can't remember anything LOL I'm considering rewatching it but…
I have rewatched this AT LEAST once a year since it first aired and I still enjoy it. The soundtrack is so good I have it on three different playlists. LOL
Gosh, I loved the long hair of NJH. The trimmed version is just okay.
Same. I felt his shaggy look was unique and fresh, and that it suited his character's personality, and lifestyle. Especially since his character is in an industry that values true individuality and does not expect people to conform to social norms.
I was looking forward to this but now y'all are screaming SLS. Bye now, i don't want to suffer ahhh! I was actually…
While I loved Han Ji Pyung in both episodes, there is no longer a chance for second lead syndrome for me after meeting Nam Do San in the second episode. It isn't that NDS is necessarily better or more interesting than Han Ji Pyung, It's just that his personality, warm nature, and energy is so perfect for the female lead.
The real Nam Do San's character actually has the same heart and soul of the fictitious NDS from the letters. The…
Yes to the "dig about creating fictitious personas through social media" ! And other media too, as with the beautiful article describing a noble Han Ji Pyung with a beautiful inspirational quote from him regarding an investor being like a sherpa guide.. and the real life Han Ji Pyung is like. "I don't even know what a sherpa is !" lol
Yup, really liked that he came on his own. But hope they don't make the lying continue for long.
Same. I hope that he came to know her and like her through reading the letters and showed up to meet her for that reason alone. Next week's preview makes it look as if his true circumstances are revealed through the awards program. I hope this is the case and that he actually comes clean. I do not enjoy the suspense/ stress of this kind of trope.

The actors are fantastic and I genuinely love all the characters (especially the grandmother), even the dislikable second lead female feels like she runs much deeper emotionally than we know at this point. As you stated, "... it is all about the reveal" and I will be impatiently waiting on next week's episodes!
Anyone noticed this isn't on the frontpage of MDL? It's because the air date is wrong. It doesn't have a cooldown…
Please do not worry, with this screenwriter, director, and cast I am sure people are waiting. and I checked and it is on MDL front page for "Trending this week". Also, Netflix has been heavily promoting it and even sent me reminders for the start of the show. On top of all this, the first two episodes were so entertaining that I am sure their will be many viewers joining along the way.
But seriously, I have never gotten over this.
Never. XD

Very entertaining with a beautiful layout.
I am now adding some of the shows to my never ending PTW list.
