Can I just say I reaaaalllyyyy like the CEO? In all of his scenes today he was really cute, I think he will win…
OMG I love him and Joo ri they are so warm and genuine together :) She is coming to terms with her grief over her one sided love and the pain and guilt of her relationship with Mun Yeong so she is no longer a thorn in this otherwise lovely series.
Although I really liked him at the beginning of the drama, I'm starting to really dislike Sangtae bruhhhh
It may help to put your heart and mind at ease to know that Sang Tae has a pervasive developmental disorder and in his specific disorder he is not fully capable of rational thought or actions due to the extreme stress brought on by confusion and fear. They just need help working through those feelings they have of guilt, fear, and betrayal and support on how to maintain healthier honest communication in the future.
When you put it like that I can see why they did the roleplay thing with MY younger version, but I don't understand…
I believe it was because he had chosen as a child to give her flowers and love, but she was not able to choose that as a child, so this was childhood Mun Yeong's chance to finally choose to accept his flowers and love without fear. It was like when they had lunch together and discussed "The Zombie Kid" only It was MY as the adult and KT as the child.
So I wanted to ask this. What do you guys think about the lady who slapped juri? Is she really MY's mom cause…
I keep wondering who she is. But there is a different actress listed as portraying MY's mom so I don't know that it's possible unless they are going to do a plastic surgery trope but that would be so beneath the quality of writing this far. Another thought is that she is some crazy fan of MY's mom or something. Something that stood out earlier was when she said that no one paid attention to her before that incident. It seemed like that was important, but I don't know if that it actually means anything.
Setting aside the painful ending of ep. 9 for a moment, I just want to give credit to the writers for giving Kang Tae and Mun Yeong the perfect first kiss that keeps with the healing theme of this series.
Kang Tae finally got to give Mun Yeong the flowers that represented his young love Mun Yeong finally got to accept Kang Tae's flowers and his love without fear of bringing him harm Kang Tae and Mun Yeong finally got to share the innocent kiss and the beginning of their first love that was so cruelly taken from them during their childhood.
Thank you, that is usually the first thing I do before rating it on imdb but I was so upset that I forgot. It was a painful episode but still an enthusiastic 10 !
I agree. I thibk we're getting a big insight into ST cruel side. I know he's lashing out but fuck me, he went…
I know that this is painful for Kang Tae (and us) right now and we all feel deeply for him as he realizes that Sang Tae has been carrying this memory.
But it might help to know that Sang Tae is not capable of calculating and intentional cruelty.
Sang Tae is only acting impulsively on his feelings of betrayal and fear of loosing Kang Tae after finding out both true and false info about KT and MY. And in that moment these deep feelings brought out the deeper feelings that he suppressed of that traumatic childhood experience.
Below is the entire verse that begins "Love is patient. " It is a common theme throughout this series as it speaks of love not just in a romantic sense but in the larger sense that also includes family and friends. In IOTNBO we see the profound impact of both healthy and unhealthy love in these relationships.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, never fails.
Praying that he is at peace now and forever. Wishing he could have found peace here. Grateful for all the joy he brought that will live on through his work and spirit.
Oh nooo!!!! I am still waiting for the sub!!!! yaikes!
It is up on Netflix now. I went straight to the end to find out what was said. before going back to watch the whole thing. It is very difficult to get through. I hope that at least some of the healing begins in ep. 10.
