I actually did consider this theory too when I watched Ep.10, it's not entirely impossible that MY and ST could…
This theory is very interesting. I had not even considered it before. This does not change your theory, but since you mentioned ST and MY possessiveness I think that it is important for people to know since both characters are often misunderstood.
ST being extremely possessive of KT is typical of his pervasive developmental disorder and it is made worse by experiencing the loss of his mother, fear of loosing KT, and knowing that young KT wished he were dead.
MY being extremely possessive of KT is typical of her particular emotional/mental/personality disorder along with her lack of social-emotional development from her being kept isolated as a child.
I feel like I'm going to binge watch all episodes right after watching the last episode.
I rewatch them now during the week for my screen time instead of other shows. I 'l l start watching another show, feel nothing, then rewatch IOTNBO episodes since they are more fascinating and moving.
Many people are upset with MY or ST for hurting KT yesterday. But no matter what actually happened or if it was exposed both ST and KT have been traumatized by the incident.
Kang Tae has been hurting all along as he carried the guilt and trauma of their childhood incident into adulthood and he has been burdened by his guilt more than actually caring for ST
Sang Tae has been hurting all along as he carried his trauma and fear of their childhood incident into adulthood and he is clinging to Kang Tae and living in fear thinking his only family member and loved one wishes him dead or out of his life.
Mun Yeong is the only witness to their traumatic incident and the pain it has caused them by keeping it a secret. She was not the cause of their pain, she just brought it to the surface so they don't stay trapped in this pain for life.

Many Netflix users not yet familiar with Kdramas look to IMDB for ratings!
Please remember to rate the episodes on both MDL and IMDB.
