Let's talk about what made you watch this show! For me, I have been excitedly waiting for this show because of…
Kim Soo Hyun, Seo Ye Ji, and Oh Jung Se. I admire and follow these actors and the story sounded interesting so I was looking forward to it and impatiently waiting for it. I had high expectations going in, but IOTNB has far surpassed all of them. I am so amazed and moved by every episode :)

i kinda forgot already that he is Oh Jung Se! LOL. i watch him and i just think he is autistic in real life, not…
Same! Every time I watch the BTS and interviews, I am surprised when he begins to talk without the mannerisms and speech patterns of ST!

Just added Raise de wa Chanto Shimasu to my PTW based on your article since the other three are among my absolute favorites of all time! I love the stories, direction, characters, actors and osts in all three and rewatch them regularly.
Thank You for this wonderful article!

What if she moves in with them? Even though it's unlikely but it'll be so cozyyy!!!
She Does! And it feels like it is time for them to read us another one of her books this coming week, even if it isn't a new one.

i think so too, if ST starts to work with MY again, then they have to move back.
I hope that MY KT and ST live in MY's house happily ever after. It would fit with the fairy tale if the home is forever a happy place once it is filled with a loving family.

Woohoo I knew Ok Ran had a connection with the family.. maybe she killed KT's mother too! so excited to know who…
The entire scene with Sang Tae and Nurse Haeng Ja was very sweet. I really like her character.
I have come to adore Sang In and Joo Ri they are unexpectedly warm and likable despite their initial impressions.
I also enjoy Seung Jae she is fantastic! But Jae Roo does not interest me at all other than his loyalty to ST and KT.

Veteran? really... with 30 years old you're veteran in Japan ¿? never know that ¬¬
He debuted in 1997 at seven years old. He has been in the business for 23 years in television, film, music and theater. I believe that this is why he is considered a veteran in his field.

What I loved about that moment was that throughout the show MY always felt the need to have weapons, be aggressive…
Exactly. :)

But yes, I love her character so much. She is so intuitive and intelligent and so fiercely loyal to those few people that she loves.
So I only always see her in the best light and I try to understand the reason behind some of her more selfish or thoughtless behaviors. :)

What I loved about that moment was that throughout the show MY always felt the need to have weapons, be aggressive…
That is what I was pointing out. MY automatically had grabbed her own weapon to take care of things by herself. She never expected or trusted anyone to help her. She even clung to it still until KT came up to her after he hit the husband. She was shocked that KT had helped her and only let go of her weapon once KT took care of the guy.

I was watching episode 8 again and noticed the rock in her hands! when KT hit the man and ran to help her she…
What I loved about that moment was that throughout the show MY always felt the need to have weapons, be aggressive or to protect herself. It was as if she felt like she was always alone in a battle against the world including her own family her entire life .
So when the angry husband punched her she automatically grabbed a rock to defend herself and she was still clinging to it till KT came to check on her.
By dropping the rock when KT came to check on her after punching the guy, it is as if she realized she didn't have to fight or face the hard things alone anymore because she finally had someone who was genuinely on her side.

If you are an IMDB user please consider rating the episodes or the series on IMDB !

Many Netflix users may not be familiar with kdramas or MDL so they look a series up on IMDB before choosing it. It would be sad for IOTNBO to get overlooked due to a lack of representation. Thank You!

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
Late comment on Episode 10 - my tears were just falling non stop on GT and ST reconciliation scene. i can feel…
I was already crying after KT apologized to ST for walking away and saying that he wished he would die, but when he added that he was sorry for wishing that he had a "normal" brother, It was so honest, relatable and real that I just sobbed.

The writing, directing, and acting in this series is amazing. I feel as if everyone involved in this project did their research and understand the reality of living with PDD and loved ones with PDD. Especially since they are respectful and present it without being judgemental or patronizing.
