This sounds weird, but I find him walking into her bedroom with her sleeping (with the lights on??) and touching…
Family, friends, and people in love do this naturally to loved ones who are sleeping. They might touch their hair or face, hold their hand, or pat their back or kiss them goodnight, then make sure that they are sleeping comfortably before quietly or silently wishing them a sound sleep or sweet dreams. Our elders used to add a blessing or prayer.
It is almost instinctive to care for others who are sleeping in this way. It is endearing, not inappropriate.
Just another reminder to show your support and love for IOTNBO by rating it on the following sites.
MDL - rate the episodes
Google and AsianWiki - it is common practice to rate shows while they are airing and adjust the rating as you go.
IMDb - it is common practice to rate the episodes and the actual show and adjust the rating as you go.
I cannot express how important this is to help others decide what to watch on Netflix especially those unfamiliar with Kdrama.
I believe that IOTNBO is the perfect classic starter kdrama to enchant and gain new kdrama fans! More kdrama fans equals more quality kdramas easily available internationally. :)
I'm over KT taking his frustration out on MY. He's going through something and I get that but he should be more…
All three main characters are suspended in a state of arrested development due to traumatic childhoods that lacked healthy adults. We have to keep this in mind in order to keep from judging them as we would others. One thing I love about this drama how it seeks to understand the behaviors of the characters so that the characters work through the cause and break bad habits and unhealthy patterns of behavior that keep them trapped in a miserable life. Kang Tae is suffering a shock and cannot control his anger, but he is not entirely selfish, he is trying to process this while at the same time he is trying to protect MY and ST from his discovery. I was actually happy to see him release his anger, openly discuss his thoughts and fears with the doctor, and then return to MY and ST instead of being a coward. I hope that we will see his sincere smile in the family portrait.
I also find it interesting that the title of the episode is Romeo and Juliet, but they zoom in on a classic figure of Hamlet holding Yorick's skull - I believe they do this more than once. Hamlet has been a subject of many famous scholars in Psychiatry due to the play's focus on inner conflict, grief and mental illness both faked and real. It is also known for its respectful, compassionate, portrayal of people with mental illness.
So maybe the woman who murdered KT and ST's mother, was a crazy fan who killed My's mom first and dressed in MY's…
But when she mentioned her child, could that be KT or MY ? And I now think that the head nurse is involved. She knows about the butterfly fear, so I think she purposely sent KT to do the search to find the butterfly portrait photo.
So maybe the woman who murdered KT and ST's mother, was a crazy fan who killed My's mom first and dressed in MY's mom's clothes and then killed KT and ST's mom. Please let this be it.
I would summarize this episode in 2 words"Fuck Gang Tae" He is getting on my nerve
I was immediately upset with the writers for having his character react this way. I understand that he must be experiencing unimaginable pain, anger and fear but we are on episode 12. He should know by not to go directly to the doctor and have the doctor advise him on the best way to tell the others involved so they can work through this individually and together. Maybe the subs will give insight and it isn't as bad as it appears.
So many people are worried because the title is "Romeo and Juliet" so I am reposting this since my earlier post is buried in the comments :)
I'm hoping that this is a premonition that as long as they stay together side by side their love won't die and they won't die.
Episode Four - "Balcony " Scene at KT's Apt. - Romeo and Juliet.
MY -We look Like Romeo and Juliet Staring at each other like this KT - You’re Right. The ill-fated mortal enemies who should have never crossed paths MY- No, They were meant to be. It was fate. KT- Their tragic fate killed both of them. MY- Do you know why they both died? Because only Juliet drank the sleeping potion. If they drank it together they wouldn’t have died. So let’s fall asleep together, side by side.
Let's sit and refuse to accept the reality of it ending together :')
I am childishly refusing to face the reality of the series end.

Once to watch it raw on tvN , then again to Netflix with subs.
Totally worth it! :)
