It's definitely not by accident. Same with the beginning of the series when Sleeping Beauty fairy tale was brought…
Exactly. She was hidden in castle in the forest for protection from the evil wizard/godmother/fairy depending on the version. The moral to the Perrault version is to "be patient in waiting for love". And "Love overcomes all including evil" is the moral from later versions of the tale. These are themes already applied to IOTNBO. I can't wait to find out the true story behind the murders. Mostly so that the KT/MY/ST family can live happily every after :)
Just curious, but I find it interesting that MY 's father was reading what sounded similar to Sleeping Beauty about the evil wizard (fairy godmother) not being invited to the princess's birthday celebration, so the wizard planned to ruin the princess's party. The Head Nurse presumably sent the patient to ruin MY's Birthday and MY pricked her hand but did not sleep. But her prince did come to save her that night. Perhaps there is something to this a clue about the head nurse idk? Thoughts?
Guys, IMDb rating is 9.3! With a popularity of around 350... It's climbing. It's so exciting seeing this drama…
In the beginning, weeks, I was upset because it was only rated about 8.8 with like 8 70 rating for this wonderful drama, now there are over 1500 people rating, over 300 reviews and it is 9.3! This is important since people who do not follow Kdramas often depend on IMDb and Google for making that quick choice on what to watch on Netflix and other sites. The more great Kdramas people see the more they will watch :) !
Mental health care workers are not exempt from mental illness by a long shot. Many go into the field to help others…
I totally get your point lol. That is why I felt so bad for you. I live in fear of a good drama falling short at some point. I have watched decent dramas that didn't disappoint because they were never exceptional, just a nice watch. But I was so impressed and immersed in "Because this is My First Life" that when it came down to the end, and they threw in a lame out of character trope I lost my mind! I was so disappointed in the writers for scarring an otherwise unique drama that it almost ruined the entire experience for me. I still get upset about it even though I still love the drama (minus that part) . lol. Here is hoping that the IOTNBO ending episodes are worthy of the characters and the story so far. :)

This storyline seemed to be ruining your enjoyment of this drama, so I was just trying to ease your concern by explaining that it isn't too far fetched for a psychopath to be working at the hospital and go unnoticed. The director may be observant and intuitive and the best of the best, but IF the nurse turns out to be the murderer and a psychopath, he could realistically not know since she might not give signs due to her lack of conscience or guilt. Whatever happens, I hope that you are not too disappointed. It's been such a fun watch and wonderful experience so far! :)
Looking at the brighter sidee, i love every MY and KT's talk in the library ❤Andd how the scene where MY is…
He also automatically went to her when both she and ST were in pain over the butterfly painting. He didn't hesitate. He knew she needed him more than ST in that moment. I just wish he would have continued after her.
I will actually add points to my rating for any murderer that isn't MY's mom. Even though I believe that MY and ST would eventually accept the pain just as KT has, to stay a family. I don't want them to have to deal with that kind of endless pain. So I am more than happy to accept a crazy head nurse who otherwise did her job well.

Iit might set your mind at ease to know that in truth, it would be mocking the medical health care system and mental health to expect that the doctors and medical staff are superhuman and can not only magically know if anyone is mentally ill, but that they are also somehow free of any mental illness themselves. That is humanly impossible.
Doctors and nurses are human beings like everyone else. They suffer from depression, obsessions, and personality issues. Some suffer addictions, are domestically violent and abusive. Some even commit murder.
And Mental illness is not always grounds for dismissal. Health care workers are also are under the care of therapists, psychiatrists etc and some take medications for their treatment that do not interfere with their ability to perform their jobs. There is no reason to expect them to be different from other humans as long as they perform their jobs well.
This drama is still very much a healing drama. Despite all the pain and suffering, mental illness, and even murder, there is still hope. love and forgiveness through healing. :)
the revelation personally ruined the drama for me.. its a healing drama dealing with mental health and they showed…
Mental health care workers are not exempt from mental illness by a long shot. Many go into the field to help others heal because of their own wounds. The head nurse is extremely mentally ill, but this is a drama after all. And there would be no way that the doctor or other staff members are involved.
But this is so not okay.
