I might be wrong, but the editor of the first ep seems to be of the same editing school as the one in TIH. There…
I thought I was the only one who felt that way. I was so excited to watch the 2 leads, and in a big platform like Disney+ too. I couldn't even finish episode 1, but I thought it was just my mood since everyone was raving about and that maybe I should try it again.
ML: *points finger* "If I ever find out your scheming against Bu Ran again, I'll definitely squeeze out your tears and use them to water flowers!" *smirks*
Me: Hold on. Did I just read the subtitles, right? *replays scene* *cackles*
This drama wins when it comes to the cringiest lines. Those lines make me laugh more than any other scenes in this romcom lol.
This drama has no right to be this good. Episode 4's ending is too perfect even down to the miniscule details -- the palpable anger, quivering lips, the timing when the lights turned on, clothes covered in sweat, clothes covered in dirt, overdue outburst, and the let's-share-all-the-sorrows hug. In other words, this drama had me thanks to that scene.
He cried. The realization has been hit. Also, I do not like the psychopathic-power-hungry second lead. why did…
I'm the opposite. I like that he is not the typical pining 2nd ml, especially that the leads here are already married. Plus, the actor plays psycho characters really well, so it's a treat and adds thrill to the story. I highly recommend Into the Ring if you want to see him play the complete opposite. That's my first drama of his.
Almost a month after watching this drama, I felt that it had only one flaw -- it ends. I was probably wearing rose-tinted glasses, but I completely fell in love with it as I savored it slowly every week with great anticipation. I mentioned it before, but it felt like reading a book that I could never put down.
I can't. The script is not the best, but the leads having a competition between who could create the cheesiest and most cringy moments makes for a super entertaining watch lol.
I like Wu Lei pretty much, but in this drama, the script is just meeh...I read this review on Viki. This reflects…
I definitely agree with snooker being boring. Maybe chess would've been better? Lol. The dialogue is not the best, but they do have deeper conversations during important moments. One instance was when ml needed encouragement after he decided to go back to the sport, he called the fl. Even before that, he also opened up to the fl and poured his feelings out after he faced his trauma.
I think majority of Asian dramas does not have deeper dialogues when the characters are in their 20s or below. That happens more with characters in their 30s and above, that's why I highly recommend Meet Yourself. That drama focuses on leads in their 30s who are facing an early mid-life crisis. If you haven't watched it, give it a try as it's one of my favorite dramas. Let me know if you're interested in Jdoramas with mature characters too (=

On a shallow note, I do I live for Park Hyung Sik's animated expressions! He never fails to deliver them in any drama I watch him in lol.
