Someone had already published story regarding ML. The story was wrongly portraying him as having killed someone. FL extended this story by exonerating the ML with the help of person whom ML saved. This is different from FL stopping contestant's sad story.
TV viewership rating-wise, it ended well with near 3% ratings. Despite all the shortcomings it was a well-rounded drama which focused on the soothing side of love rather than passionate one. They could've modified or shortened the family politics at the end to make it better.
