JP doesn’t deserve to be bashed — he didn’t do anything wrong. He’s still gentle and considerate, and…
💯 I don’t blame Jae Pil either. It’s the mystery behind his perspective. I hope they finally reveal more. They’ve done well with most other characters. Unless he dies or something, and this is other people’s perspective of him.
5-6+ pairing options when only 3 sail; huge risk. Doomed to have half the audience disappointed at the end.
Anyway, after this episode, the two consistent unsailed ships I support now, are Young Sik and Jong Hee along with Young Rye and Jeong Hyeon.
Friendship to lovers can be cute too. I just don’t like the lack of Jae Pil’s perspective post-time jump, if he is supposed to be the 1st male lead. I’m still waiting to be won over by them because I really like friendship to lovers trope tbh.
Ok JaePil and YoungRye, story-wise, not sure yet, they’re still in limbo, but chemistry-wise, I’m not getting any romantic feelings from JaePil. It’s still friendly and surface level. Now I’m rooting for them to stay friends and for her to end up with Jeong Hyeon. They’ll have to convince me now after a 7 year time jump, if they are in fact going that route.
the theories! I thought he just remembered his past life at first, but some say: - the remaining mangunrok page sent him to the future - when she read the words “come back to me”, from the mangunrok, so many times, his consciousness traveled to the future - no reincarnation, but he himself traveled to the future after she read the mangunrok
I’m leaning more towards her reading the mangunrok, as the reason he’s there, since that part we actually saw. Whether he himself lived there for some time before he could find her, or his past consciousness merged with his reincarnation, is the question mark. Merging with his reincarnated counterpart, makes more sense to me, only because of the perfect suit he showed up in lol.

I now believe, these are the two best ships that haven’t sailed.
but this is still a kdrama, so I just hope Young Rye’s second male lead will be okay
clearly seeing the religious mindset in the comments, because this fantasy fiction
decided to save to this to watch later, when more people have watched and comment about the storyline
edit: episode 5 is finally out kisskh too
