OMG the kiss from 4th episode was really hot and to be honest this kind of kissing I miss in scenes with females…
Ikr. I love and hate the writers at the same time. I love that we got to see that kiss... but now I am kind of shipping them. I actually felt disappointed when I found out it wasn't really happening. Oh well, at least I really do like the lead actress. Also, we might get to see more BL scenes with them, in future day dream scenes.

At least watch to the end of episode 3 and then decide. I just saw it and am still in shock right now. I can't wait to see how this shakes out in ep 4.
I love Ethan Juan in this. It has been too long since I have seen him in anything. Last thing I watched with him in it was the Taiwanese version of Fated To Love You.

I came across a music video that had scenes from this drama. Maybe it was the song that drew me in, but the video made me want to watch it. It is cliche to say a romantic drama is cliche :P I think several things in this drama gave a fresh perspective.…
First, if you can't watch a single "cliche" scene, you are looking at the wrong genre. Romantic comedies are a bit of a spoof of the ideal romantic fantasy. Cliches are one of the comedic parts of this genre. That said, what I thought was fresh and interesting: I loved her piecing her memory back together a bit at a time. Memory loss in a drama is definitely not new, but all of the adorably funny misinterpretations of her memories and the misdirection was a fun take. I do wish you saw a little more effort on Machida's part(his actions/attitude was a little too like a usual tsundere male lead), although his love language/the way he expresses love does seem to be helping his loved one in their career... that was kind of unique. I loved that the writers kept drawing attention to the fact that changing herself on the outside did not instantly solve her problems. It didn't instantly attract the leading man. Cliche would have been her catching the eye of the guy only after she put on a dress and make up. In this case, he fell for her willingness to work hard. The results of her work efforts were hit and miss. I like that the writers are telling us that sometimes, things still do not go your way, even when you work hard. cliche would have been her doing an amazing presentation just because she worked hard and she summoned the courage to try, when she was put in that position. I love that even though she became more confident in her work and love life, she was still the same awkward person. Cliche would have been her seeming like she had it all together in a flash forward.

I will give you that it would have been better if they had given us a few scenes showing us they were making a long distance relationship work and told us if this was just a visit or if he was back from London for good. For the rest, I have to disagree. The last scene was a little weird and awkward, but also cute because, their characters were always a little weird and awkward, to begin with. The writers kept pointing out over and over, although she was able to change her appearance, the make-over and her attempts to better herself didn't change her on the inside. She still struggled with speaking in front of others, was awkward, and insecure about her relationship and kept making the same choices. Later, you find out that he is essentially the same with insecurities and fears about his career, hurting her career, and if she still actually loved her long time friend. If she had been suave and graceful in the end, I think it would have gone against everything they were really trying to say. If Machida was any more demonstrative of his affections in public, it wouldn't have been in keeping with his personality. The best chemistry I have ever seen? No, but again, I don't think it would have made sense for this couple to have crazy chemistry either. They were broken up for most of the drama and they were trying to keep you in suspense about how he really felt about her/plus he was misunderstanding her feelings for Ryo.
