Oh by the way, can someone explain how HY and HRY (drama wise) are step siblings and not half siblings? Does that…
I'm not so sure but in my opinion there're the same father but different mother. However in novel He Yan was not biological daughter of this family. She was from the second branch of He Family( He Ru Fei's cousin)
Wait Cheng Lei in another (kinda) red flag role?? I've been praying for this since his Gong Shangjue era
In novel he's not, he's a green flag, protective here. However, the author seems too rushed to end the story. I hope they make changes to improve it, because in the novel, the male lead seems to be a bit useless for the country.
Well, she is a soldier at his army. And she couldn't reveal who she really is. She actually went quite far. The…
Omg, if Qian Shan Cha Ke read your text here, she might be delighted to tears because her hard work truly has someone who understands every detail of the small spots and what she really wants to deliver to the reader.
Unspoken things only girls will understand…1- Any girl with dimples? She’s basically programmed to flash that…
lol, you think too much, in novel author didn't mention it either,Chinese Drama never mention or show about how they poop, pee 😂😂Chinese people in anceint are rightous and shy (opinions from other novel), for this novel she always on odd from other, She always takes bath at midnight and get up early than other.
I feel like you (I'm a novel reader); I was a bit disappointed with episodes 1-5 of the adaptation drama. One…
She seems to pretend only when using a spear, but not with a bow. She trained for 10 days for it. Her personality is quite arrogant. If she wants to win with her elite bow skills, she shouldn’t need to train for 10 days.
I’m so disappointed. I’ve read the novel multiple times waiting for the drama but it’s real bad. I dropped…
I feel like you (I'm a novel reader); I was a bit disappointed with episodes 1-5 of the adaptation drama. One point I can't accept is that He Yan, in her own body, cannot hold the bow. That doesn’t make sense, as she is already an elite soldier and is familiar with all the equipment. In the novel, she wasn’t in her own body; that’s why she was weak and had to train hard to use the bow.The intro of this drama was not quite good, I cried so hard while reading novel the part when she was poisioned and became blind, also when she lost her child and drowned but the drama was quite fast , I watched it without notice that they have already done for the intro part.
However, the next episode is quite good, and I've become accustomed to this adaptation as if I’m watching a new drama, not one based on the same novel. I really want them to follow the novel 100%, but they can’t give us that due to the restrictions of censorship in China. Many of her novels change the trope from rebirth to a more conventional trope.
So, I’ve decided to accept it and watch without recalling the characters or expecting each event from the novel.
they see woman as not being capable for military conflicts, but her brother was sick and lived at the temple so…
In novel her biological father is her uncle(Second branch family), I don't know they changed here in drama cuz after watching they seemed to change her to the real daughter and didn't mention the second branch family.
This is the first c-drama that I've seen where the main leads are not A-list actors, yet so many people are waiting.…
Different people have different tastes. I personally watch C-dramas not based on list-A actors or actresses. I only focus on tropes, chemistry, and interesting plots. Even if the main leads are not popular, if the story is quite interesting, I'm going to watch it. I'm pretty sure that most audiences who are eager to watch this drama are the novel's fans. For me this novel is number 1 on this list of Chinese novels I've ever read. From the start, middle, and end, I can say that every scene is perfect and interesting; I'm not even bored after reading more than 200 chapters of the novel.
Believe me If the main lead in this drama were Bai lu or Lusi they would work fast and release it first before…
Yes, that's true. Each platform will only release drama that has the most reservations and the lead popularity. One more reason that this drama is delayed is because of the scandal of the supporting role.
I literally don't understand Tencent's goal. Haha, Zhou Ye, Cheng Lei, and Zhang Miao Yi have already joined Hello Saturday to promote this drama since April. Normally after joining Hello Saturday to promote a drama, it may take one week, one month, or two months to air. Tencent keeps delaying it and tries to air other dramas instead. This kind of underestimates this drama and the popularity of the main leads.
Often I see a drama with FL posing as a man, wearing mens clothes, and ML still falls for her, inspite of initially…
You may be confused; in the novel, Xiao Jue mentioned many times that he never falls for her when she disguises as a man. Xiao Jue only feels good as a friend (he wants to know and thinks He Yan was a bit pity, clumsy and amusing; he treated her like their classmate). He only learnt about her and started being interested in He Yan after he knew her identity (He Yan’s identity was exposed when she went to a city with Xiao Jue as Cheng Li Su’s identity). Their relationship has started improving since then. I think Xiao Jue completely fell for her when they went to a city and disguised themselves as a couple. The whole story wants to enlighten us about unconditional love, no matter how ugly she was when she disguised herself as a man. Xiao Jue still loves her. He didn’t fall for her appearance; he fell for her intelligence, ability, strategy, energy, kindness, and her unstoppable striving for life and revenge.
