at this part I was like "wasn't that also his reaction when he first heard it from eunho?" of course after some thoughts jy got a development. but it's so unnecessary for the writer to make hyunoh reacted similar to juyeon only for him to get scolded lol. jy got a little perk because he heard it first. and although he's saying all the cool lines, but if you notice they also made his character like forcing himself to the limit to get her back? which is actually kinda opposite to what he said. I think he only said it to make her feel better. which is very considerate but he also said that for his own sake, to win her back. I think kang hoon's facial expressions really well at delivering all those emotions. that behind his encouraging words there's a desperation to want her stay. but if only look at it at the surface, I understand that many people will take him as the most genuine character. honestly, I don't think he's forcing himself is that cool cool, but it's make me feel sorry for his character too.

I think eunho really wanted to be hyeri foor good this time. was it because she was trying too hard?

emotion is abstract and sometimes 2 plus 2 doesn't always equal to 4. I believe hyuno and his family have a genuine bond undoubtedly. they're a family by choice, but unlike in Go Ahead, his is rooted by debt. in his narrow mind, a part of it is a transactional that he should pay with his devotion. until the oldest grandma gave him a closure and a reassurance that they're a "family", on ep 8. and then he dare to make a decision.
user @danny_ang bellow described how the screenwriter build chorong's character. her sudden appearance wasn't random. in fact, her similar family background to eunho, supposed to make hyuno to finally realized that "maybe she can accept my family too". apparently hyuno knew a big picture of eunho's fam, but he didn't tell about his since he didn't intend to marry her before.
actually at first I was so nervous after the conversation with the oldest grandma, would he finally make a move? all those realizations, he finally got the basic math, and for the first time, he saw that 2 plus 2 equals to 4.
with the desperation and hesitation, he made his way on the stairs to her place. ost part 4 by Plave, What If, played on the background. user @W earlier made an analysis that the first batch of the stairs are like the first stage of their life or relationship. if he could move his way to the top of the stairs, that means he was all for the idea of the marriage. but it was too late, hyuno moved further but the bike was no longer there. and the page of the diary could mean that haeri took over. What If is really hyuno's regret song. and actually these scenes had me goosebumps. it was as if I was able to read and to translate the scenes if that's make sense ðŸ˜
let's go back to episode 7, the dodgeball game "I'm the one who catch, throw, and hit the ball." I knew as soon as she spoke that it was haeri. but it wasn't haeri, it was actually eunho. but for some reason eunho not only pretended to be haeri but she seemed to behave like her unconsciously. her throaty voice resembled haeri's. and it would only make sense if haeri was the one who said those words. so it was eunho but we got a glimpse of haeri in her.
as if they wanted to tell us that haeri became like the rubbish bin of emotion for eunho. anytime something went wrong, eunho escaped and let haeri catch, throw and hit the world for her sake.
and right after haeri said that, hyeyon said "you need to out someone." from the beginning of the conversation, they made it seemed like hyeyon was talking to juyeon. but eunho was the one who replied. what if it's a foreshadowing that the second personality will dominate the host? and eunho will become dormant.
and although juyeon didn't answer, but he looked like he had his own mind too about outing someone. the trailer for the next episode showed he met hyuno and introduced himself. it seems he introduced his position for the "dodgeball game" he prepared against hyuno 😂
hyuno heard the news about eunho's mental health from juyeon. the moment he finally dare to make a decision, eunho gone. What If I told her sooner? What If I never let her go that time? What If I stayed? it's gonna be his biggest regret.
eunho's gone not only because she was upset of the marriage rumor. she gave up after she learned that she caused the downfall on hyuno's career. and she honored his job more than anything because she was there with him when he began from the scratch. and if hyuno finally realized that he's the trigger, that all of the things and that what his narrow mind took it as sacrifices ended up hurting her more, I don't know how he would handle it too.
the guilty she felt for the lost of her sister was so deep. and I wonder if her guilt for hyuno could cause another side effect despite putting eunho on the sleep mode.

there are different types of person. usually people will unconsciously change their dialect when they live in an area and communicate daily with the locals. it's hard to not to. and when they cameback to their hometown, they'd still speak with another dialect.
but there are some people who have the skill to control and switch their dialects. and I know some people who don't bother to change the way they speak although they moved in an area for a long time. this type of people tend to be able to learn the new dialect, but they just decided not to speak with a dialect.
when his mom said "family needs to stick together" and he said "right. and that's what I have always been doing". I love his response.
and beside that, I love that he found an excuse not to let his step sis to be the audience of their heated conversation. it's a M.A.N.N.E.R. while his mom tried to use a minor to gain sympathy. that speaks a lot about their characters.

this makes me realize that some parents see their kids as successors of their ideas, blood, wealth, glory, and pride. some of them may feel like they were underachievers and they passed down their dream to their kids to fulfill their desire. and some have regret that they wanted to pay. like they looked down on their own childs when they were little. thought they were nuisances and burdens but once they grew older, parents started to see their offsprings' potentials. and that was when they had a sudden urge to demand their respect. so when their kids become somebody, they can see them as their allies.

while she had the best chemistry with jion especially for the first two episodes, after learning hyunoh and jion' background, that scenario would be too cruel for the three of them.
