the only one who knew the 1982 code was junseo. so he must be the doctor who first texted him. but after that it's a different person.

do you remember the drug dealer who stole jk's gun? he talked to the doctor and he said that the one he was talking to wasn't the doctor they used to know. he said the voice was the same but the talking style was different.

and what made it obvious, because the fake doctor didn't aware of the rule the original doctor made, that the drug dealers must never call him first.

but the fake doctor waited for their call, apparently. and then the drug dealer wanted to make sure whether the current doctor was a different person or not, that was when he asked whether he could call him on that number, and the doctor said yes. the way I see it, at that moment he must 100% sure that he wasn't talking to the same person. because the character was so different.

and they couldn't do the transaction for 2 weeks. junseo started seeing the insurance classmate a week ago. and the absence of the doctor to the dealers could be because doctor died. and sometime along the way someone took his burner phone and imitated to be the doctor.

I think the original doctor didn't mean to make jk as an addict when he first texted him. but the fake one took the control after that. the faker wanted jk to investigate the case, which I'm sure not for a good reason but for his own benefit. and he's using drug too control both jk and the dealers. once they no longer useful for him or his mission completed, he could use the drug to end them.

well the last paragraph is just my theory. but from ep 4, we indeed got a clue that there's someone who pretended to be the doctor.

ah so apparently doctor was junseo. and the og doctor was the one who first texted jk. but then someone else pretended to be him. his killer, probably.

if you look at it briefly it looked like he put an innocent blank face after jk shouted at him and then left. but the dude was actually clenching his jaw.

what made him so upset? because jk yelled at him? something else was definitely more important than him getting offended by jk's tantrum.

either he was mad because he was trying to protect jk or it was the worse scenario we've been imagine. even jk doubted that changsoo was trying to hide his weakness for a good reason.

but I'd love to see if actually changsoo is on jk's side.

ik, to me prosecutor classmate is the closest character to be the 'doctor'. he's like the brain to his mates. idk if they'll introduce a new character tho.
