I've been feeling uneasy since last night watching their promotion show with jaejae. usually when it felt like impossible to know who is mr. x in a mystery drama, my easiest route is by looking at the list of the cast. it may won't work that easy if the x is just a cameo tho. but there's always a sign from the cast list.

we've seen what these characters are capable of. at first I strongly suspected taejin as the doctor. I low-key still suspect him, because looked like someone capable to do that.

then there's noh gyumin. after watched ep 9, I don't think he has the gut to do that. unless he had a massive character development. but I still think he is connected to the doctor. maybe he's one of the two persons who moved lee myung guk.

and this one particular character seems the most ordinary. like nothing's seems off about him. he has no motive so far. but all of it makes me uneasy at some point. the most normal character usually is there for the sake of the plot twist.

he wasn't included as the main lead. but he's one of the top 5 characters. and he joined their promotional show. so far his character only tag along with the main leads. and he doesn't have his own story yet except a glimpse of his high school crush moment. we don't know anything about him except how he helped the main characters. and a character like him has so much potential to be explored as the x factor, for a plot twist.

and I saw someone said about the poster, that only 3 characters are looking forward, jaekyung, yunjin, and junseo. that could be a sign.

and it keeps bugging me why junseo only mentioned jaekyung and yunjin in his will, as if he could only trust those two. not just because they're both a detective and a journalist.

but no matter how I think of it, I can't connect him to lee myung guk and junseo's businesses. let's say that he took junseo's phone, it wouldn't be enough to learn about everything. I'll be looking forward for his next moves tho.


honestly there's a perfect character who can imitate to be junseo and playing the doctor. someone who was involved in the high school scandal, a part of junseo's businesses and also always on junseo's side. especially he was there when junseo made the last call with his friends and he was at the scene too.

but you compared the effect of a non existed drug that only exists in a fiction drama to the effect of drugs in real life. if the writer wanted to make that lemon pong could turn people become monsters, so be it. it's called creativity. there's a logical reason why the writer decided to use lemon pong and not whatever drug you're thinking of. it's the drug that only exists in Connection universe not in our world anyway. it's realistic to the Connection universe. if you wanted to make lemon pong realistic in real life, my question is does it even exists?
