kinda sad in the drama they don't show all of the crown prince's trajectories back in shimyang
yes, his screen time is enough for a support role. it's his roles in shimyang that weren't shown enough imo. he learned new things that were considered as sins in joseon. that would be interesting to see the dynamics. and that would give more reasons for the king to become suspicious of him.
I feel like they fast forwaded 8 years and there was a gap to show his trajectories. if it's a 14/16 episodes dama, maybe they'll include it and somehow manages to get the main leads involved as well. yes it's great as it is, but since I've read the history I can't help to notice it.
they did mentioned some part of it briefly tho. but didn't really show it.
I'm glad that gilchae used her chance working with that concubine to save jang hyun. And it seems working fine. but something just doesn't sit right. I can't tell what it is tho. It's the way the concubine insisted that it had to be gilchae makes me feel uneasy about it. Why? it couldn't be she understood that gilchae had been through a lot just like her. is it because that gilchae was captured by the intruders? so she's an easy prey to be a scapegoat.
anyway the crown princess is really something. I love her presence. she successfully led the farmers and managed the budget back in shimyang. and even tho she wanted to save the crown prince so bad, in the end she respect his decision, followed him and risked everything for him.
sohyeon is an angel 😠it's breaking me when he was pleading to the rotten king. he told his heartfelt emotion about the people and the scarecrow got possessed by evil spirit instead.
that's what happened if you're worshipping a rotten tree
I wish the crown prince really committed treason and took over the throne but he's too noble and loyal to do that. please I can't bear to see what's going to happen to him ðŸ˜
just realized that hangeul created in joseon era, meanwhile the ml is from Silla. but he somehow managed to read the script smoothly in the current time line. it only makes sense that during his wandering period as an evil spirit surrounding fl's reincarnation, he also able to grasp the knowledge and the development of the world.
he also remember when the little monk gave an amulet to the little fl. and he can describe the situation of the temple. that means, although he was an evil spirit without a body, but his mind worked perfectly.
Stopped watching at ep.16, that's my happy ending. Will come back at the end of the show to see if it's a sad…
that's fine my dear, but you know where to come back if you decide to change your mind. whether it's a happy ending or not, just remember that you're not alone.
I haven't seen ep 9. maybe by the time I'm writing this they already aired it and that would answer our curiosities lol

ptsd is in the air 😂
just a good ending is enough
you're right. that's a valid statement of his condition.
