Title Beyond the Bar Spoiler
yeah pretty sad, just completely disregarded his feelings about it. things change, people change. he had every…
yes, even if the result was going to be the same, they needed to discuss it together because she wasn't alone in the relationship.

now I understand why he had that gloomy look sometime or that he looked like he had something on his mind. the worst thing is that if he saw himself as the bad guy and the one to blame. like "what's wrong with me? did I make her feel lonely?"

when she was just wasn't ready and didn't communicate things with him. now she changed her mind. because like you said, people change. they were younger when they were together. and as people grow older they become more mature. and things she couldn't do in their relationship, she could do it now. because her previous relationship had thought her a lot and made her grow as a person. and that made her to be ready to born a new life.

it's good for her that she's happy. but for him, he still needs some closure apparently. :(

it reminds me of the first episode when the FL said that the law is not perfect. and that sometimes it doesn't…
when he didn't let a second for them to breathe, I knew he had experience too.

I feel they portrayed that scene really well for me to catch it.

it reminds me of the first episode when the FL said that the law is not perfect. and that sometimes it doesn't go hand in hand with the moral.

I can feel the FL's emotional struggle while the ML was defending the case.

I mean I had an emotional battle as well. technically he wasn't wrong and I don't side with the kid's mother. but this show poked me in the best possible way with its intensity. I was challenged between my logic and my feeling. I'm a biggest F, I only got T on my MBTI results when I tricked the answer to something I was not. but I always want to push myself to use my logic first. so... yeah I naturally felt bad when the ML pushed the mother to the limit. he was a bulldozer. I got scared. let's admit even the opponent's lawyer was shaking inside his heart 😭 he kinda stumbled and unsure when it was his chance to question the psychiatrist, lol.

It would be an interesting topic ngl specially considering the cast’s personal experience too. I love how so…
I'm satisfied with this as well. they nailed cases with have a sense of ambiguity and what at first seemed to have a low chance of winning. so whatever the case I feel like they'll handle it well. and why not to explore that topic, I think they'll do good if they do.

wait...

so the ex wife is now pregnant with her current husband? that's kind of sad and ironic. I believe the cause of their divorce was because she lied about her pregnancy and didn't discuss it with the ML about the abortion. they had a childfree agreement so abortion was kind of a make sense solution. but to left her husband in the dark, I understand why things went south for them.

yingtao is indeed their gang leader. 😂

thanks for sharing this informative review. thanks for putting your effort writing this. you've worked hard and it comes out so well written. it's very detailed and sometimes your points feel like filling the gap I missed when I watching this. I don't remember yingtao's mom said that and now it hits me so hard. aww! 😊

the cases so far, have been different tbh so we will see more of these,I think thats what got me hooked and hope…
yes, they have a depth on how to handle the case. I love how they keep the intensity. the writing, directing and editing, and acting create this wholesome synergy that sparks a chemistry. and I enjoy that they offer a different case in different episode.

the other show is more a slice of life that focus on the daily life of those working in the law industry. while I also still haven't into that show myself, that sort if genre has its own audiences. usually I'm into slice of life in general but when I watch a show that focuses on a certain field, I'd wonder more about the drama, problem solving, etc.

same lol, I wonder if he has the same skills as her for people not to notice
when her teacher found her unconscious after getting attacked by her brother's bodyguard, he treated her wounds + healed her eyes. her brother used poison when he served her tea that made her blind. and maybe heeyan's teacher had the antidote or something.

does xiao jue suspicious of that Lei guy?
it makes sense. if it's not heeyan then it could be hei you.

yeah, since they also easily noticed he rufei's bodyguard from the way he walked then something about lei hou could also catch his attention during the training period. he basically monitored them like a hawk.

does xiao jue suspicious of that Lei guy?
I've finished ep 6, and heeyan started to become suspicious of lei hou when they had a fight. I wonder how xiao jue knew lei hou was the spy. because he thought it was heeyan until he sensed that her move was always obvious which likely wasn't the behaviour of a spy. do you know if they'll explain about his suspicions to lei hou later?

from when does Netflix started releasing weekly episodes😭 this and the winning try both are literally the best…
because it also airs on jtbc. Netflix just follows the tv schedule.

I'll be looking forward too

I lowkey wanted them to handle a case about idols, actors/actresses, celebrities or anyone working in the entertainment industry. because they don't have an umbrella to protect them. there's no artist union to back them up. and the companies they're under don't acknowledge them as workers/labours.

these people look like they have it easy and glorified but they're actually vulnerable to workplace abuse. and when there's a case, their own company that expected to shelter them could work against their favour. they trusted them before so the companies have their private informations, and use the data for mediaplay to fight their own money makers.

I just feel that if this show ever addressed this matter, they'd represent it well judging by how they handled the sperm case. plus the screenwriter is an active lawyer, I really want to see from the perspective of this show how the law untie these messy knots.

He just knows this masked, sexy sword dancer has to be his wannabe soldier girl — so cute!
he'd be like: that's my girl! 😉

who was the woman entered the pet shop after ML dropped Shash over? was she the ML's ex girlfriend/Shash's mom?…
this reminds me of a case I just read recently about ex couple fighting over custody of their dog.

or they could be sisters or something else, given they already use the twin trope to the FL.

ikr! when they introduced ML's story, I immediately thought that his then girlfriend/wife must be died. but what if the writer wanted to play a trick on us? like they wanted us to think that way just to twist it, that she might actually still alive. and the woman entered the pet shop might be her? and they're currently co-parenting their son with the pet shop as their dropping point or something like that.

Yesss, that was one of my favorite scenes in that episode too. She looked so cool. ❤️
I was literally gasped! it was beautifully executed.
