I saw some people gaslighted her family with "where were their parents when that happened? why now when she no longer here?" While her family can be criticized for their lack of supervision, the weight on why she was groomed shouldn't be on her family. Because then that means the victim blaming.

Naturally the predators selected their victim strategically. They tend to groom a child with less parental supervision. It's all a part of the predator's calculated move.

That's why a victim shouldn't be blamed for being the victim just because they let him in. Even if she wasn't an innocent victim, it's still the predator's fault. Period! Instead of blaming the victim, please tell the problematic person to behave.

If you keep blaming the victim, you're a part of the problem in the society.

A drama comment section got bombarded a while ago. The traffic was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay crazier than this page. The comment section was even more chaotic than now. And it even affected the rating drastically as they created many burner accounts. But the mods did nothing lol.

Let me be clear, my experience in discussing about this matter. You can scroll down below a little bit if you want to get the context.


It's about them using kim saeron and other celebrities' death as an excuse to defend their opinion about this man. First, did any of those celebrities had a grooming allegation? Thus bringing them in this discussion is not necessary. And I don't believe to give the benefit of the doubt if it's about grooming allegation. Second, it's very cruel to use kim saeron's death to defend kim soo hyun while he was the one who denied their relationship that made his fans and his toxic drama fans to sl*t shaming her, called her a liar and an attention seeker.

Those who claimed to be neutral coincidentally only called out that the people who used to hate kim saeron now attacking kim soo hyun. But they pretend not to see that till this day, the same people who used to hate her are currently still defending this man and sl*ut shaming her even after her death. Those make them hypocrites. How are they neutral when they only see one side and failed to see the other side? And the most disgusting thing is the audacity of them using something that killed her to defend her oppressor. Even if you still believe that he didn't groom her, you can't erase the fact that when he denied their relationship that way, that was when her misery started to happen. You can't deny that he fueled the public's outrage towards her. And putting the burden only on the netizens is a logical fallacy.

And if you monitored this comment section, you can see me reminding others not to bully kim so hyun. But I got disgusted with people claimed to be neutral nly coming for those against kim soo hyun. Especially when I learn that his fans are still talking trash about her and even went too far like doxing people. But none of these claimed to be neutral spoke about it.

And what about the people who till this day still hating on kim saeron? Can't you see it too? Why not talking about them too? Why are you only coming for people that against kim soo hyun too? I'm not asking you to stop your action to remind people to be civil. However don't only coming for us but ignore the other. Are you okay with them bullying the late kim saeron because they defend kim soo hyun? If you want to be neutral, do it properly and be fair.

I love your comment earlier about "public's outrage is what moved the law" or something, I don't really remember the exact words lol. i wish it could be pinned or reposted. I think it'll give people perspective on why we shouldn't be neutral about grooming allegation.

His denial fans are annoying but those claimed to be "neutral", I found them to be more disgusting. They don't have a backbone to know where to stand, a hypocrite preaching about humanity whatsoever.

Those who actually neutrals don't need to explain themselves with "I'm neutral but...", "I'm not defending him but...". They might be watching and waiting for the final result and when they actually speak their words, they are not biased, especially not attacking only one side but claimed to be a "neutral" like a clown.

No actually kim soo hyun has a part of the responsibility of the hate towards kim saeron, not only the media. Why do the weight of kim Saeron's public outrage only on the netizens and the media? And why would we put the blame of her death on her friends and family? And it's not apple to apple comparing kim soo hyun's grooming case with kim saeron's case. South Korea's suicide case is a concern, so does grooming.

And it's irony, why does her death being used as an excuse to understand his situation? When he didn't even try to understand her situation before.

if anything, the one we who deserves a concern here is kim saeron's mother. you said it yourself that she once attempted to do that. imagine her situation right now with everything she had been through.
