Wow. This is how melodramas should be. Messy, complex characters, emotional, life and death situations. No noble idiots, no cheap misunderstandings. Both married couples communicate, do not hide. It felt like it was second season of some random drama, there they left only good stuff and cut out all unnecessary things.
Though some things worry me: -They revealed too much in the beginning by giving future scene. -FL is suicidal though have a child and loving husband. Seems their marriage was out of love but still she could not let go of past. She needs a psychologist. Nothing will cure her. So she will have to die figuratively to become alive again. Means it will be more serious betrayal. As if she did not suffer enough. Possibly transforming into revenge drama. -All 4 leads have dark side, but only 2FL does not have any good. They made her character very simple, just evil greedy homewrecker. All her scenes feels emotionless. She cries out but you feel nothing, just register the fact that something bad happened to her and it will be her reason to do evil deeds. I am so uninterested what story she will have. -2ML has no background story, made him too unimportant though he is the only sane character. It is too hard understand where he stands in this drama. -Drama started too dark. It may transform from melo into revenge, there ML will make another unforgivable mistake and his first child die. As if it can go darker even more. Then it will be too similar to Angel Temptation and other dramas. -From first episode you already know if both children will remain alive there will be no happy ending for any of the 4. I all in for unhappy ending, but writers will be bold enough?
Tl;dr This drama started too good to be true. There is too high chance that writers will mess it up. Unless they make it through and it will be one of most original and best melodramas ever. I will put it on-hold.
Disappointing ending with Granpa. He behaved like Hitler for his own grandchildren. He used their parent death and other biggest pains to manipulate them like robots. He did it for underage children. Growing up they behaved like sociopaths. Usually kidnappers behave better than him. I hoped to see his pain.
The series should be called "Misery of Jung Han". Lived with girlfriend in USA. But she suddenly left him for other guy. Desperately tried to get back her. Fortunately found love with another woman and married her. But she dumped him too after only 3 month marriage because wife's sister-in-law did not liked that marriage. Untimely his father died. Tried to find justice for his fathers death but everyone called him crazy. He was left all alone. He did not know that had a son and missed 6 years of his growth. Planned revenge but was very unsuccessful and his main partner of revenge betrayed him. Now his ex-wife, who he still loves her very much, marries another man. His mother and sister destroys his weak relationship with his son by fighting for parenting rights with other side of family. He is hated by everyone or loved by only evil people who do more harm than help. He is wanted in USA there are people after him to kill. And everything suggests that he will die by the end of series. How this is story-line for one of main characters?

Does not beat rapist, does not report to police, nothing at all, like it did not happened. 2ML says to everyone that she is his good friend and he cares about her very much. This is caring??
Girl knows nothing. She thinks the guy she liked raped her and behaved like its nothing. She does not report this criminal case to police because she liked the guy first and feels responsible. You wanna know what is logic behind his actions and how writers trying to push that he is good guy? And being rapist still can be called as good guy.
