I never saw more absurd direction drama took. Especially which tries to be "realistic". Here is my dose of dark humor to show its absurdity.

Imagine you travel in time and on the end of 16 episode JY and YJ end up together in Portugal. Here is recap of 17 episode for the events after such perfect ending:

JY presents his future bride YJ to parents:
- Parents: wait, didn't you broke up 6 years ago?
-JY: yes
-P: Why?
-JY: she met a better man, dumped me and married him. But they will not get back together because they lost their child. By the way she is divorced more than one month so by law she can get married again.
-P: Divorce??? Child???
-YJ: Yeah. Though do not feel sad or pitty me. It was happy marriage so I am certain this marriage will be happy too.
-P: Wow. Good boy JY. You snatched such perfect woman. She has experience. It is hard to obtain at such young age. Not only knows how to grow children but also has very huge experience in funerals. Thank you JY giving us such great daughter-in-law.
-YJ: Thank you for praises. Furthermore if marriage will be not successful I will leave him for another man. No attachments. It is best risk free deal you can get.

YJ learns that she is pregnant
- YJ (sad voice): I am pregnant again.
-JY (extremely excited): At last I am gonna be a father. I am happy. Lets name the child Cha Soori (or whathever name was)
- YJ: No we can not. I already had a child with such name.
-JY: But this one will be better.
-YJ: Stop the crap. Look at your dorky pictures during teens. That one had perfect genes from doctor. Please, know your place you are second. And having deeper thought lets do abortion. I want to focus on career. You are too good to be a father. I do not want to experience loss of a child again. It broke my first marriage.
-JY (happy again): Wow you are such thoughtful and considerate wife . I do not want to divorce you. Let's avoid that possibility and do abortion.

JY brings the food to YJ workplace
-(Some famous model): YJ who is this guy?
-YJ: My personal cook. Sorry I divorced plastic surgeon I will not be able to provide you discounts for surgeries.
-M: It is sad. But why him?
-YJ: It is best choice for the moment. Recently I wanted to suicide, but he cooked me tasty food and changed my mind. Later who knows maybe my third husband will be from entertainment and I will help you again.
-M: Good girl. Strong woman should know what they want. You bring respect and inspire all women. See you later. Inform me about your third marriage.

Doctor returns from trip and meets YJ.
-JY: Why did you meet him? You are doing the same as on our second charm. I am paranoid about that.
-YJ: Do not annoy me with those insecurities. Let's meet him and he will explain
-Doctor: JY, sorry to inform you appears that I forgot to bring documents about our divorce to courthouse, therefore your marriage is illegal. Thank you JY for healing my wife. I will take her from you. If we will lose another child I will return her to your workplace after another five years. Anyways in her lowest lifepoint she will meet you again for sure.
-JY (crying): Ok. This time I will take a trip to Panama and learn Belly dancing. I will be most famous male belly dancer. Thank you doctor for this opportunity. It will help to develop my character and make me more mature. I will be better for YJ during next encounter. We are fated ones.
-YJ: Great. Doctor let's have another child. It will be a little bit later because I recently took abortion. JY is too good to be a father. Let's make perfect child. JY thank you for healing me. You are true and only love of my life. See you later after 5 years for another one month encounter.

On serious note - YJ needs to have happy ending. But JY cannot be a sacrificial lamb to heal her pain. How stupid or self-disrespectful any human could be, at least he is not worth to become sacrificial lamb. His life, his happiness is worth much more.

Most unfair thing that when YJ decided to marry doctor, JY was not present in her life. But when JY decides to marry cop she suddenly appears in his life to unintentionally destroy his happiness for the third time. She always meets him in her lowest points of her life while he is in highest and always dragging him down. Nothing against her character, but it is literally description for femme fatale.

Furthermore the reason for divorce was not lack of love. It was tragedy. They did not want hurt each other anymore. She feels guilty for childs death. This does not mean she does not love doctor anymore. She just wants to feel pain, hide from people etc.

Seems this show ratings are quickly dropping after every episode, just because of tendency make leads end up together. Feels like you are watching tragic events happening before even bigger tragedy.

After ep 13 all conspiracy theories were debunked. She simply was happier and been longer in relationship with her husband. Child was theirs. She left him for another man. It was not due her career or any weird complex reasons. It is very realistic life situation with simple reasoning.

I cannot imagine them ending together. Even if his relationship will not work with police woman, he should not go to woman who dumped him for another man. He would always feel insecure, he will never be completely happy with YJ. One-sided love will not make him happy. He must somehow forget her.

I do not like pity path for YJ. She made right choice. She was much happier with doctor than JY. She even realized her career dreams while being good mother and wife. She got everything she ever wanted. But accident happened. So she must hold on to JY to heal wounds? And after she heals she will leave him for another man? It is so unfair to him.

Child was not JY's. I do not see her having serious emotions meeting JY. Moreover doctor would not be happy meeting JY too, there is no jealousy from him. Definitely it was their child. Both were drown into alcoholism. Doctor's emotions showed what he was very happy with their marriage till accident. Means that he did not felt that she still loved JY during marriage, he did not felt cheated. Child was big means she quickly got married after breakup. Probably doctor felt that she could not open up completely due her tragic past, but that is it. It was very normal happy marriage.

Doctor and YJ do not think JY was seriously heartbroken. Otherwise how they could feel so comfortable around him and invite to sit like old friend. Definitely she did not think much about him during those five years. There are no hints to that and emotions would be different.

Analysing YJ, she feels huge passion and attraction towards JY, maybe a little bit of regret, but not deep mature love. Maybe they will change characters just to fit the end, as usual.

So YJ dumped JY for a guy who he was jealous of. Married him. Had a child. Had happy family life for about 3-4 years. Lost child in an accident therefore divorced husband. And now appears in JY life again like nothing happened. Wtf?
If he ends up with her for the third time, does he have any pride, any "balls"? How their relationship are possible? She cannot erase her memories of a kid, of happy family life. But every-time when she will share her memories with him, he will always feel the pain of being dumped. How about insecurities ? He will always be second to that doctor. His first child will always be hers second. Maybe she loved her husband much more than him, because he was her choice. Maybe she choosing him because at the moment does not have better choice. Maybe much later she will want to get back with her first husband. It was easy for her to leave him second time, who guarantees then similar obstacle occurs there is no third time. Which parents would allow their marriage knowing their history?

She should look for a different guy to share all her memories to heal gigantic pain of losing a child. It is impossible for them to be happy together. So much different level of maturity, expectations from relationship. She can have any unmarried guy and live happily, but not the guy she dumped. Because she will heal by hurting him. Only way to heal is talking with beloved, but her talks will hurt JY, unless he doesn't love her anymore or has amnesia.

What writers are thinking? I cannot see a way that viewers will be happy with any ending. If they go separate ways what is the point of their third encounter? What is the point of drama?

There is no possible closure from writers perspective. Usually in divorce dramas at the end of drama cheating ex-husband returns just in order to show that good guy is definite last choice for FL. Here are no bad guy or girl. Here there is no symbolic situation to show that JY is YJ's last choice in her life, or that their marriage will be better than hers first.

Dumbfounded about direction of the show.

Perfect drama, rare gem. Rather quite original comparing to other asian dramas. Great in depth mature conversations about outer beauty, various relationship issues. These dialogues are worth re-watching. Very strong and positive female character, there is no noble idiocy or other usual cliches.

Though in last episodes writers unnecessary transformed an important character into villain. There was no need for that. This made main characters less outstanding and made drama more boring. Furthermore plot became inconsistent, lost its all logical value. It was small but very big mistake.

No. But they suddenly added supernatural elements only in last episode. Seems writer was on drugs for last episode.

Amazing beginning. Seems like in "My love from another star" evil chaebol vs supernatural.
I expect plot twist that his daughter is not biological, but her biological father is Min Woo. Because why would he be so angry about his appearance and previously demand divorce while his wife was in hospital. If it is true it is so unfair for him. I hope he will not die in the end.

On eps 6 some tv producers throw person who can't swim into deep swimming pool without any safety measures and especially without that persons knowledge. In America there would be lawsuit for attempted murder and producers career would end. Is Korea law system at medieval times level? No one faces consequences for such act. How it is possible? Or it is this drama writers mistake?

Unexpected direction towards end. Female lead became mentally ill for believing illusion as a real thing. There is no other way to explain her actions. Sane person would not do that to another human being.

Negative comments are reasonable. Drama should ended at 16. Also it gives you very wrong impression what hypnosis and DID is. Writers had done zero research about main topics of drama.

It started quite funny, but it became total flop in the end. Wasted ML talent as actor. His interactions with himself were very entertaining. I do not know why female lead was total disappointment whether writers failed or actress could not express complex emotions towards end. She lost all empathy that she had in the first part, it was very hard to read her emotions.

But should he be plauded for realizing it? He already left his wife to have a go with his first love. He already did unforgivable mistake. It is equal for him having secret affair with another woman, because his wife did not know about his decision to leave her. It was not breakup with agreement. Element of time jump and different timelines just gives mindfuck, but simply it is affair. Sci-fi elements makes watchers to view affair more acceptable, concentrate to lead inner feelings not on moral issue.

After affair does not satisfy, he wants to return to his wife. This is total jerk move.

I am more interested how writers will try to fix situation in last two episodes. Eventually his first wife will know he chose his first love over her. They had too many communication problems, but adding affair on top of that is too big for this lead pair to handle. Writers did not added proper second male lead, because best friend acts just only as source of jealousy. Therefore there is no other direction than getting back them together. I hope they will have some very creative sci-fi ideas. Other way this drama will be total flop and be wasted project for amazing actors. But slow pace till ep 6 makes it very doubtful.

Main lead is total loser in both timelines. In both marriages he is terrible husband. In workplace he is quite incapable, just does something due rich father-in-law but not by his own capabilities. Furthermore he fails to have healthy communication with parents, sister, friends, co-workers. At least he should be immature and fun-to-be-around or have big heart as in similar genre dramas, but not in this case. Moreover hes does not love his own children neither misses them. Children are least important thing in his life. The last shred that he is not loyal to both wifes and friends. I could not find any positive traits in his character. I understand he will grow to be better towards end but first 4 episodes are unwatchable, because there is zero empathy with main character. Actor is really good but it is not enough.

Producer tries to show that both wifes are bad, one has anger issues other is inclined towards affair. This show sends wrong message. Whole production and writing seems as sexism as center of attention are only men needs while women needs are totally disregarded. Especially that man in both timelines is married but woman is in just one. This is totally unfair as without him she could not find marriage partner. This smells very fishy. In Go Back Couple and many similar genre dramas it was fair for both sides. This one is too much one sided.

Series is great. Liked main characters, but kinda disappointment from romance part, seems lead woman did not loved anyone from beginning till the end. At first she was not affected by going to jail, she was not worried at all that this could affect her relationship with husband. She is workaholic and she is hugely responsible for failed marriage. Also seems she was not affected by divorce. As viewer I question if she loved him at all. Later she put at distance both male leads and their relationship did not progressed at all through 5 years. Probably she will end being old divorced childless career woman with no hope of forming happy family life. At the last scenes it is showed that she still do not understand happiness and coworkers and stepsister urge her to find her own happiness. It is huge disappointment because her character from very first scenes is very positive and charismatic. I really did not expect such ending.

The most ironic thing that in the end old dude's last words before death were "business is about family" or something similar. Yet he never saw his two granddaughters who after being kicked out presumably grew up in US. Through series he never showed affection towards his own family. This is very contradictory. Writing here is very bad.

Could not pass first episode. Did gangsters raped her and filmed and using it as a threat? Dialogue between them suggests that. How this start for a comedy? How writers find sexual harassment as a funny thing?

Had to drop this. After escaping into rural town Grandma treats 26 year old Dong Hee like she is 5 year old prohibiting to leave the house. At least tell her that your life is in danger therefore you cannot leave the house or something. Did she expects her not leave house for rest of her young life??? How it is for her best interest treating her like
she is mentally retarded child? Many 5 years are smarter than 26 year old. It is so unbearable to watch.

Excellent drama, quite unique script, but I have issue for the reasons of revenge, especially it is the reasons for the kid who grew up in america with their mentality and law system. It is main driver for the plot.

Here are the facts:
Children got hurt in car crash. One child was extremely hurt, had near death experience, had surgery, but eventually grew up without any consequences. That child father is very protective and at that time wanted to take legal action against education organisation which was responsible for children transportation. Especially because that car crash was not accident. What that father did wrong??? Can he be a subject for revenge???

How stupid and unreasonable you should be to think that he is subject for revenge? Especially with american law mentality? But here many characters blame that father as wrongful person. Writers try hard something illogical sound like it is reasonable.

His pursue for justice had terrible aftermath. Car crash happened due to education organisations fault. Instead director with friends framed driver to shift the blame to him. They created false witnesses, fabricated medical documents to make him as drunk driver. After getting these false facts parents almost make lynch court and beat that driver. After being bombarded many times, being wrongly accused driver commits suicide. He is survived by two young children.

Father being shaken by drivers suicide tries to help these children and takes one to live with him. Other older child thinks that father is main culprit behind wrong accusation of driver and returns to town after 23 years to take revenge on that father.

Can anyone explain logically how father is responsible for these events? What he really did wrong? Car crash was not accident, but he should not taken legal action???

If writers would make reason for revenge more compelling it would be one of the greatest weekend dramas. But it is hard to watch then some parts are very illogical.

Here romance had no clear direction with back and forth, and ending was beyond terrible. After village ("island") nothing really happened, it became more as friendship/sibling not as romantic relantionship.

First half was very entertaining. Second half terrible, too much business oriented, no romance. Looking at first half it is really good quality lakorn. Acting was good enough, were some funny scenes. Prapai character is very likeable.

This is drama there is role reversal, women here are like men - cold, calculative, business oriented, men are emotional, always doubting themselves, cannot make strong decisions. This was really interesting at first.

There are no protagonists or villains (except grandpa grandma generation). Also there no "good" main characters. All problems happen because of role reversal. Every main character is really hateful from some aspects. Especially main pair - spoiled rich boy and greedy woman.

I feel that in the middle the story lost its purpose, it started as rich vs famous and women ambitions vs men, but later it was about birth secrets and cheap cliches of many dramas. There was no emotional continuation. At first as viewer I waited clashing powers, seeking justice, but everything stopped for no reasons. It concentrated too much on older generation, but their story is really boring. Totally not worth watching. Seems writers and producer did not know what they wanted to achieve.

They tried to make dark drama with complex deep characters but they were really unsuccessful. Ideas were great but production was really bad. Only Lee Min Soo and his mother characters were complex, other feels that were misplaced all other places lost in unnecessary cliches.
