Title Dinner Mate
Loved the webtoon but I find myself wanting to drop the drama. Hope it gets better.

Got mostly B followed by C. I actually prefer the noble idiot over the natural-born romantic type. Clumsy protagonists and bumpy romances tend to make me go mad so it is funny that I got it :D
The quiz was a really nice idea. Thank you for making this quiz, I really enjoyed it.

The first long k-drama that I've watched was The Promise, it isn't a drama to start watching long dramas, but something about it was so compelling and thank god it was a daily drama and it was subbed the next day, didn't have to wait long for the new episode. I think I actually get more invested/focus in some long dramas than in shorter ones, there is more space to build characters and relations.

I watched half of Empress Ki but I couldn't continue since I believe they ruined the story and started to drag it;
One Well-Raised Daughter that I also stopped for the same reason (always wanting to tell the truth and then when blackmailed she chickened out);
Potato Star 2013QR3 that I was really enjoying but at the time the subs were really messed up, maybe I'll watch it again late;
The Dearest Lady, I also enjoyed it but at the time was watching too much stuff at the same time and it wasn't my priority.

Now I am watching Once Again and I love it, only wished it was daily.
It is a really nice article with good tips so people don't miss these dramas that are as good as the others but have a scary number of episodes.

As a person who as spent too much time gaming and having to juggle between dramas and videogames (when farming in game I do both), I just can't watch gaming dramas. After watching almost all the Love O2O episodes I dropped it and never again I had interest in this kind of drama, maybe because they are both things that take up almost all of my free time and having to pick one over another.

Using mouse clicking for moving ingame is actually accurate if they are playing Multiplayer online battle arena like League of Legends ( which is really popular in china), you move by clicking and use spells in Q, W, E, R.

Thank you for doing such a interesting article

Thank you so much for reading! This really means a lot. I really like Moo Young's character, INTPs in general,…
It sounds like you had a lot of work put into this article. I thought you probably picked characters that you really enjoyed since it could be a factor for remembering their traits.

As I said in the other part of this article, thank you for bringing such a fun a interesting topic. I haven't seen The Smile Has Left Your Eyes but I can relate to some of Kim Moo Young traits (I am INTP-T). As for the dramas I've seen I agree with their personalities. I am actually curious about your method to choose the characters choice and how you narrowed their personality

This is an interesting article, I actually learned abou these types of personality tests from the a korean variety show ( can't remember if it was Sisters Slam Dunk or Idol Drama Operation Team). I think it is really accurate the personality atributed to the character that I've watched in dramas, especially Kim Shin Hyuk. My result was The Logician (INTP-T) and the only character that I think that might be is Eun Hwan-Ki from Introvert Boss

It is a drama that I can never force myself to watch. I just hate it... I hated the anime and hated the korean version, I couldn't finish it. In my opinion this drama and Playful kiss are kind of a tv glorification of abusive relationships. It was trendy to have bad boys as ML but instead they took it too far and made them morons.

Great article! Indeed there is a significant difference in budge when it comes to Taiwanese dramas, maybe that's why I mostly see modern dramas instead of those big chinese historical/fantasy dramas with use budgets. Taiwanese may lack on budget but they still are entertaining to watch and have good actors and most important of all, they don't tend to have dramas with 40+ draggy episodes.
I haven't watched any of the those dramas but I intend to watch The Ghost Bride.
From the ones I watched I really enjoyed Before We Get Married, Marry Me, or Not? and Murphy's Law of Love.

Really liked your article. It is nice to have you back.
19 out of 20 dramas that I could watch right now would have one or more of those. I actually thought that by the rate of people that die being ran over in dramas was extremely shocking, even more when I saw The Third Charm and they decided to have someone be ran over in my country (I know we drive like crazy but we tend to hit other cars not people).
Most of the dramas will probably have a rich boy eccentric/bad boy paired with a poor/naive/unpopular girl, why? It's targeted for female audience and as woman I also have fantasized that.
I also learned with Kdramas that at least one household has an orphan and beware of birthdays, it's a day work for grim reapers, they will take your family away.

It has been 5 years that I started watching korean variety shows and since then I have watched each weekly episode when it is release of Running Man and Infinity Challenge (still need to watch some early episodes ). More recently I got KBS world channel so when I am cooking I'll watch The return of superman when it's airing.

Nice article, I loved Na Ae Ra from beginning to the end. She felt like a real person which I could relate (not that I tried to ruin my ex's life). This drama touch very important issues and after all that she has been through I think she could have done worse to the ML. I will actually rewatch it since this article made me remember how I enjoyed the drama.
I haven't watch Doctor Strange and Dropped Siege in Fog after the 1 episode, since I might watch them some day I didn't read about those.

Thank you for reading! There's one fact we have not mentioned in the text. In small NK villages, attending "cinema"…
The funny thing is that today I was zapping on my tv and Michael Pallin in North Korea was screening on national channel and I saw halfway through the second episode. I thought instantly in this article and how I was planning to watch after the festivities some documentaries and check those websites Seonsaeng recommended on another commentary.

Wow! Such an interesting article. It is nice to have more information about a country that is mostly depicted as a bad country or a good one when it has to do with unification and forbidden romance in other countries cinematography. Sometimes people think that a country with such censorship people would be all about work, go home, sleep and repeat. I didn't knew that Kim Jong Il was so passionate about movies and movie making. Propaganda movies have been used in dictatorships so it's not a surprise but I am really curious and wanting to see at least one thanks to your article and have a better understanding of the country and the ideals they try to instill on the population. Thank you for the article!

But how do u verify that the date of birth submitted by the user is correct or not ?? I know this is based on…
I don't know if there are a lot of people lying since you can put your date of birth private so other people can't see it.

Nice article, it brings up a serious issue in BL dramas, I prefer dramas that show the struggles and the journey of the LGBT+ community in a realistic way, or at least what I think is the reality in asian countries. I don't usually enjoy BL but when I do it has to have a somewhat believable romance between the leads or else i'll prefer those BL dramas more depicted as a bromance. I've only watched (currently watching) one History which is Trapped and i'll give my opinion about it when your article about it will be posted. I agree with you that the way they tend to make BL dramas most of the times lacks realism but I am glad that at least they are making it, because of those more realistic ones may appear since society, tv stations and movie productions may be more open to dramas that will embrace the LGBT+. I totally agree that making dramas with one of the leads being sexually assaulted by the other and still making them a couple, where after all of that they end up happily is not right, not only with gay couples but in all of them(that's why I tend to dislike lakorns).
I also agree that fujoshi (i learned what it was thanks to your article) are also a problem that were in my opinion created from the depiction of gay couples by BL dramas /movies/anime/manga, whenever you see the couple they are both ridiculously good looking, they will be taking shirts off even when unnecessary... it's to eye candy the audience to get addicted to those "piece of sugar". I also don't see problem enjoying BL dramas and even fantasizing it in some way but everything that is excess is bad, so stalking people and being rude making comments about how you see another person as a fetish is a big no.
