Title Cheo Yong
After a long pause I started watching again straight after some high quality dramas and I forgot how the camerawork was in this. All the zooms make it feel like some music show. And I nearly got motion sickness from all these handheld shots and movements. No idea what they were thinking. Plus the first episode I started again literally starts with completely clipped audio.

It's Korean humour, it's not for everyone.
Well I've probably watched a few thousand hours of korean variety shows, so it's not like the humor is completely foreign to me. But still, this movie is really flat and cringe.

Title The World of the Married Spoiler
I just freaked out in the 3rd episode the son says she would hate it if she got divorced lol.Which son would say…
Lmao you don't hate the female lead and think the son is a spoiled little shit? After she literally threatened to kill herself if he leaves her? At the start I thought he was going a bit overboard, but after it turned out his mom is a complete psychopath he seemed like the most reasonable in the whole thing. She completely failed as a parent whenever he needed her most. It doesn't even matter what age he is if his mother tries to guilt trip him with such stuff.

oh yeah! the revenge was sweet and very unexpected. You won't be disappointed.
Very sweet? She was miserable the whole time, he was miserable, her son was miserable and is messed up for life. She literally can't even get over him despite the revenge. Her revenge was not actually that different from how her mom got revenge. By driving them both straight to hell. Not sure how one can call that sweet. I don't feel bad for her ex-husband in the slightest but the person who lost in this the most was her son.

Not even 2 episodes in and this show already stresses me out and boils my blood. I'm not sure if it's enjoyable or straight up torture. Even the first episode has more tension than most dramas final episodes.

Jesus the pace. Feels like an 8 hour movie. Not my kind of beer. Even No No Sleep feels like a fast action movie in comparison. Even if the cinematography and everything is great.
A sad state of society that this drama is still kinda relevant. I don't get why this would get any outrage at all or why it had to get a 19+ rating. Sure there is a small mention of abortion which is a touchy subject, but you have 15+ dramas with literal suicides and there is nothing questionable about a story of same sex love. This is what KBS mission should be as a publicly financed broadcasting company. To show the struggles of minorities (bullying in school, same sex marriage etc) and to educate the public about these issues. Even in something that could be described as quite progressive, you still have issues like the couple fighting because she had something with a man before. Sure I get why she would be angry if she cheated on her, but she made it out like it's questionable that she dated both genders before. Shouldn't a minority group be especially inclusive? Why outcast bi relationships as an already outcasted group by society? Why have any sympathy for parents who rather die than have a gay child? If you decide to have a child but can't live with the possibility, just don't have one.

you people overreact just cuz your fav didn't "get the girl" and you've failed to see the real assonance of this.I…
6.5 is still an above average show. I quite liked season 1 and don't really care who ends up with whom but season 2 was rather sloppy and didn't have much drive. Just an average show, so I gave it a 5

The chase towards the end is the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Great chase driving 30km/h.

Honestly most of the times these discussions from grown adults talking about how they can't watch a movie with a sad ending or some basic violence seem overblown. But this was one of the movies that kinda made me sick in the stomach. It's definitely a really uncomfortable watch with all the sexual exploitation going on. And I kinda question the motive of the director. Taking closeup of the legs of the supposed strong female lead, but not in a way that seems intentional in order to make the viewer question if they might be accomplice in the crimes, but out of pure voyeurism. Instead of achieving empowerment from the revenge, it just feels like the cast got degraded and violated.

Way to much of a happy ending. I think it would've had more impact if they both jumped together without any info about the survivors

The movies biggest weakness is the way it tells the story in a rather contrived way. I would rate it way higher if now for that fact. Great movie, held back by its storytelling.
On God's Quiz: Reboot Feb 24, 2021
They went a bit crazy with the overarching story with the previous seasons but I think it's a really good reboot. Not sure if studio dragon was the best choice but it's a great season nevertheless

The story isn't really that deep or complicated but in the start they kinda manage to tell it in a way that makes you confused.
On My Bossy Girl Feb 20, 2021
But really lighthearted for the most part. Nothing you will really remember in 10 years, but I think everyone involved knew this so they didn't try anything crazy. The story is nice, the acting is good, the pacing was great, nothing stands out as super amazing but also nothing stands out as terrible. It's like a movie you can watch in an afternoon without loosing sleep over it but also without feeling bad for wasting 1:40h of your time.

Nope the have an age gap
Lmao, without this comment I wouldn't even have noticed it. It's less than 5 years and they are both way into adulthood. If you had a 15 and 20 yo couple I would be fully with you, but c'mon she was in her late late 20s....

What annoyed me was Yang Myung requesting to marry Yeon Woo, knowing full well she didn’t like him back. Don’t…
Ugh, I mean that was and sometimes is really common? Don't expect anyone to marry out of love back in the days. I'm more wondering why she liked any of these clowns. The King shows all of his worst behavior and 5 minutes later she is like: my heart has always been yours lets kiss. I know I know, childhood love and stuff, but have some self respect woman
