Yes pls I want her to star with women. And also yes a thriller is long overdue. I'm just keen for her to move…
Wish she would get a Netflix miniseries focusing on her character like Han Sohee's My Name, Kim Hyesoo's Juvenile Justice, Hsu Weining's Shards of Her, Park Gyu-young's Celebrity and so on. It would allow her to challenge herself and gain international fans. I also don't want her to pigeonhole herself in romances anymore, she has already proven herself in romantic roles and she has amassed quite the number of well-liked pairings. Would also love her in a pure comedy without romance like Samjin Company starring Esom and Go Ah-sung. Also, she should sign multiple projects at the same time and not take long gaps in between projects!!
I hope I can see her in a challenging, substantive role soon. A role where she gets to flex her acting chops. Would love to see her in a Lights On drama.
On a more personal note, I really really really want her to reunite with Ethan Ruan in a romance drama, this time a mature, non-idol one...I can't get enough of their chemistry in FTLY!!

Seriously? Come on man. The 50 something old woman is a Hallyu legend. Kim Soo Hyun wouldn't have been as famous…
It doesn't matter how long ago it was. What matters is that she paved the way for future stars. And LYA doesn't have just Hallyu hits to her name. She has also made a name for herself in cinema through her collaborations with Park Chanwook.
Not good. This means a three year drought for Kim Soo Hyun, 2021-2024. All to replace it with some drama starring…
Seriously? Come on man. The 50 something old woman is a Hallyu legend. Kim Soo Hyun wouldn't have been as famous worldwide if it weren't for her drama Dae Jang Geum. Put respect on her name.
Meanwhile, they kill gay people.. SK is in the wrong but these people go way too far.
I mean by the same logic S. Arabians are justified in hating S. Korea because it is a key ally of countries that have bombed and exploited their fellow Arabs. Also trans people and intersex people have had always had a history in Muslim cultures. So many hardcore Christian moms in the USA throw their children out of their homes and psychologically torture them because they're gay. You know where most transwomen are killed? Not Saudi Arabia, that's for sure. Don't see you demonizing fundamentalist Christian culture. Anyway, I don't think this discussion is going anywhere so I'm gonna stop.

You sound like one of those self-righteous Westerners who think it's okay to bomb Afghanistan and Palestine because their societies are sexist and homophobic. Even in Western countries, sexism, homophobia and transphobia exist. The Saudi authorities legitimize homophobia, but that is still not an excuse for the commenters here to 'defend' the LGBT+ and S. Koreans by writing racist nonsense. A lot of Muslims and Arabs support LGBT+ and are struggling hard to make things better for them. You're not helping by demonizing their culture.
Saudi Arabians overreact to this non-serious fluff series and MDL users (mostly from the country that shall not be mentioned here) respond by regurgitating the same tired Muslimphobic nonsense. Like bombing jokes? Seriously? In 2023?
On another note, SK writers should do better. Talk about a non-apology (which was the case with the Ji Changwook Kim Yoojung drama as well). Korean netizens become offended whenever there's even a hint of Chinese involvement, but their writers show little to no respect for other cultures.
Watch this with an open mind and you'll be amazed at how much this has to offer. The first two episodes were solid, and I'm hoping that the remaining 16 will be even better.
has now gotten critized by korean citizens for being too alike to game of thrones, when u look at the screenery…
But even GOT is eerily similar to LOTR and The Witcher. I do think they should have had a different intro and the western costumes/throne/wall should have been omitted. Fur was common back in the day, not necessarily a European thing. The story seems different.
I can't believe no one mentioned Kim Ji Won. She's one of the most beautiful women in K-dramas. And also, I can't believe people prefer plastic faces (Park Min Young, Yoon Eun Hye, Lee Sung Kyung, Ha Ji Won) and ahjumma faces (Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Go Eun) to stunners like Nana, Kim Ji Won, Jung Eun Chae, Jang Nara, Kim Hyang Gi, Stephanie Lee, Jo Bo Ah, Shin Hye Sun, Kim Ok Bin, Moon Geun Young, Soo Ae, Baek Jin Hee, Lee Yeon Hee and Lee Young Ae.
