I didn't say just because it has similar elements doesn't mean the drama is not good. I like immortal Samsara. I was saying that there is too many of xianxia dramas out at once and that's probably why the genre is diluted. If you release too many of the same things people will get burnt out. I love xianxia dramas but even I am burnt out at times and I'll have to find a drama in a different genre to watch. I barely ever watch modern dramas and I watched one lol.

This is a great drama..however I'm patient and I hate dropping dramas. Others might not feel the same and thus ranked this drama low.

I love Reba. But Immortal Samsara was way better than Blue Whisper.

Xianxia dramas are predictable as far as having the typical reincarnations/forgetting their past. I rely more on the acting and how the plot unfolds. My comment wasn't about disliking this drama. I LIKE this drama. Its because I see so many people complaining about the ratings on ONE platform.

I agree! The chemistry between our leads are captivating me. But you have to watch the drama to let it build up. I was on the verge of dropping it because it's similar to other dramas.

This drama is different at the same time has same elements. It's very spooky at certain parts.

Also LLTG and Immortal Samsara, are two different genre's. The last time I watched a similar genre to LLTG was probably Ming-Lan. It's more slow paced compared to Immortal Samsara, but to me way more addicting. lol.

I only see 1200 votes on this drama on MDL, vs other dramas have 3k+. That's probably why it's low. Plus it also shows how many people have dropped/put this drama on hold. I'm sure on another platform might show something different.

I've seen a lot of xianxia dramas, and this one follows the same plot of reincarnation, immortals can't fall in love, teacher/student, forbidden love, etc.

I do enjoy their chemistry, Cheng Yi here is wayyyy better than Cheng Yi in L&R.
