what she didnt realize is that she's already in that river for 800 years. if you think a man will come to see…
I feel like he should have just lied to her, and just be like "Hey, I do LOVE you, lets meet in the next life." instead of forcefully taking away her memories. UGH. And I think he truly thought she had crossed.
Sooooo, I see a lot of comments about why this drama is not ranked as high. I think.... (just my opinion), it is due to TOO many xianxia's dramas coming out at the same time/same plot lines and characters.
Every time I watch a new xianxia (I mainly watch on Viki), EVERYONE is always comparing it to TMOPB/Eternal Love. And of course for this drama all the comments on Viki are comparing it to Ashes of Love/Love and Redemption (Because our two leads were in those shows). It's hard to shake when I literally just finished Love and Redemption XD
I just think the xianxia genre is so diluted - currently airing: Love between fairy and devil, immortal samsara, Scent of Love
I also think because LLTG is still airing and that drama is literally a "refresher" since we hadn't had a historical/costume drama like that for a while now.
Also this drama is aggravating at times. It should just be called, "I Sacrificed For Love." Everyone is so fast to give up their heart/bodies/powers like from the get-go
i literally cant understand people who find it boring, i mean i just rewatched it for the 6th time, and i still…
Even she acts pretty normal for a celebrity! They both communicate their feelings and wants so perfectly. Their LDR was so realistic. I'm glad they made such a great realistic drama and the chemistry between the leads were perfect.
HEHE this makes me want to raid my mom's DVD collection of her HK dramas from the 80s!
So did you also leave out the early mainland c-drama wave on purpose? I know they weren't like THE BEST at the time but they were pretty good, and comparable to K-dramas. I'm talking like early Cystal Liu, Fan Bing Bing, Hu Ge, Nicholas Tse, Nicky Wu era... lol
lord, i just finished this drama and want to go back and watch how lovey dovey they were!! XD Idk if they're dating in real life, but it made me want to watch their BTS, interviews, and even happy camp episode together and they're SOOOO cute.
I had lots of free times so finished it in 3 days, I loved it, wasn’t my all time favorite but the maturity,…
I finished it in 3 days too! it was so refreshing, and then it made me want to want interactions between YY and DD in real life, and they're literally SOOOOOO freaking' cute together!
CSS was always worried that everyone in palace see her as LBY's fiancee and help her because of him not herself…
she's lowkey irritating me in the episodes 35-37. I totally understand what you mean that she's wanting to establish her own identity (not LBY's wife) in the palace, but she is literally meddling with matters that don't involve her. IDK for me it's a turn off! Every corner it's a new shenanigan!
Unpopular opinion: this one was kinda boring for me.There are a lot of things I like about it: the romance, YangDi's…
You are correct, this not a "drama." It was definitely more rom-com, without the drama. I think it was just too "healthy" and perfect. However, I DID enjoy it just because I've seen so many romantic comedies put us through the ringer lol.

How are you enjoying this one?
But she's one of my favorites because she's so freaking dramatic.
I was so shocked at You Are My Glory because normally c dramas are rated G. But I felt they hinted many times at seggs between our two leads!
