Awww, that’s really lovely of you to say, thank you. :’) I always believed they’d have a series one day, but at the same time it’s almost unbelievable that it’s almost here. :’)

There have been a lot of hints since the pilot teaser aired last year (where Krist was literally on top). His character is the top in the novel, so some were trying to speculate that the series would be different since they’re written by different people, but honestly there’s just too much at this point to imply otherwise. If you go through my production posts on Tumblr, you’ll see what I mean, I think.

I wouldn’t worry about them capitulating to the fan backlash. They’re probably going to wrap filming sometime next week (Singto said they’d be done before Songkran), and I think KristSingto definitely knew this would happen and did it anyway. I really admire them for prioritizing the series over everything else. I’m really proud of them. Craft over fan service.

I had a fun thought I went more in-depth about over on Tumblr, but I thought I’d share it here too. In their Our Skyy episode, Krist said he used the thought of Singto studying abroad one day to make himself cry. Since they probably filmed a breakup scene in The Ex-Morning, I’d guess that he probably used Singto leaving GMMTV for his material this time. :’)

I get a lot of objectification vibes from many of the comments I’ve seen. Like, none of them seems to care if this is something KristSingto themselves actively asked to do? They were closely involved in the making of the script, and Singto was the one who even asked for “The Ex-Morning” to be made at all! The fans creating drama and diminishing the series to sex positions need to reevaluate why they’re even fans, honestly.

Ahh okay! I can see why they’d worry about promotion, but I think once it starts, people will naturally tune in. <3

I think it came from a Hong Kong ad for upcoming series. It had some listed as 10 that haven’t aired yet, so I think it was just a default number.

That’s fair! I’m curious what other promotion they usually do toward interfans, though. I usually decide to watch a series at the showcase or if I like the actors. I don’t usually follow promotion.

I can only speak for myself, but I’ve been quite happy with the promotion so far! They’ve been featured on Livehouse three times, and I really like the photos they’ve released.

And the top/bottom switch is such a brave move. KristSingto knew they’d get backlash for it, but I hope they’ll also get an influx of new fans who’ll support their creative decisions as actors. <3

We’re not sure yet! I hope so, though! There do seem to be quite a few hints in that direction, so fingers crossed. :D

From how they worded it, did it sound like they've only got a few Qs left or that they're, like, 3/4ths of the way done? Since "more than half" and "nearly finished" could be quite different, I'm just curious. I figure they're doing Q18+19 on the upcoming Monday and Tuesday, so they'll definitely be in the usual 20-40 Q realm for a 12-episode series soon.

Based on the photos shared from Q1 and Q2, I think this series is going to be very, very beautifully shot. I'm not worried. <3

Sorry for the delayed answer! A friend showed me a photo from the table reading he did recently, and they usually start filming shortly afterward. Since it's an anthology, though, he might not film right away, but it would explain why they have few Qs this month for Revamp.

(I'm also following The Ex-Morning's production and they've done 2-3 days of filming per week, so that's what I'm comparing it to.)

Not a spoiler if you've been picking up all the hints since the pilot teaser, but according to passages from the novel, KristSingto have swapped top/bottom dynamics from their established dynamic in SOTUS where Singto played top and Krist played bottom. Obviously this doesn't have any bearing on the story, but it IS cool to see such an experienced khuujin use their comeback series to try something new in an industry where top/bottom is usually fixed to appeal to fans who lock in on a preference and often refuse to support the opposite. It was a bold move on their part, and I'm really proud of them both. <3

The account follows the assistant director and his partner, so it seems she's part of their family and making her acting debut. ;)

Prem apparently said we're only getting 2-3 Qs this month, but I imagine it's due to scheduling conflicts. He's also filming his part in the Mu-Te-Luv anthology, but that shouldn't take too long. Also of note, he'll be working with Dome, who directed Peaceful Property. That's definitely a director I'd love BounPrem to work with, so hopefully he's inspired by Prem's phenomenal acting and lovely demeanor and taps them for a 2026 series!

Directors can have a big influence on an actor, especially when they're as comparatively inexperienced in leading roles as Gawin is. I'm not watching MGB, so I can't speak on it, but a lot of the acting quality in "Be My Favorite" is owed to its director. If you ever want to check out the behind-the-scenes footage on YouTube, Krist and Gawin actually talk about what it was like to work with Waa and how he's quite meticulous as a director. I get the impression that Waa is the kind of director who makes his actors want to do their best, to deliver the vision he has for the story. I think it can be difficult for actors to replicate that same skill level under different directors unless they're quite experienced. He may get there someday. <3
