It sounds like they were just super efficient while filming. 😂 They mentioned more than once that KristSingto tend to nail their scenes in one take or so. All the familiarity and experience over the years, but I think they’ve also said they’ve always been this way.

Yes! They wrapped on April 9, and the first episode airs on May 22. :)

My guess is that they had to shuffle dates after the script revisions in December. 🤔 Initially they were going to start on December 14/15, then pushed back to January 27, so it’d check out that maybe they were originally meant to have a different day in April. (I’d rather have the better script, though.)

—if the leaked synopsis from last autumn is still true of the current script, then they’re going to feature Krist’s personal experiences with anxiety through Pathapi. And even though Krist was already arguably doing that through some of his other characters (maybe subconsciously) it means a lot to have such an explicit depiction of a condition that seems more and more common in a series closely tied to his real life.

Going through all the photos from the set, I can’t wait for the level of acting we’re about to get. These two were already phenomenal ten years ago, and a series that showcases all their growth as actors since is exactly what they deserve as a comeback. They’re definitely going to make me cry more than once, I can feel it. Oh, and—

My friend and I were talking about the potential timeline now that we have an official air date, and we think it'll look like this now:

May 8th: trailer
May 15th: behind-the-scenes special episode
May 22nd: episode 1

And I'm glad they're taking the time for postproduction. Waiting for quality is better than getting mediocre quickly. <3

Exactly. Like, putting Peraya Party this Saturday seemed like a pretty strong indicator that they were going to have it in the Saturday slot, but ZNN have had TNP in the making for, like, close to three years? And they've been marketing it consistently the whole time.

Pure speculation, though! It's also possible that the rewrites in December shuffled some dates around, too. Because they were originally meant to start filming in early December, so they might've had to find a new air date that worked better with the new shooting schedule.

I think GMMTV decided not to do battle with The Next Prince on Saturdays, which might be the smartest move. And I’m glad they’re taking time for postproduction, too. I just hope there’s consistent promotion leading up to it. Like more “Friendship with KristSingto” episodes. I know Singto confirmed he and Krist are taking the next week to rest, which I’m glad about. They’ve earned it, especially after filming on top of PeBaCa’s concert.
