ive not watched moon river this far to have comparison, but the body swapping in this was very well done, they both captured the others personality traits and behaviour very well and I think it was very much an important step from a story building point of view. if you're not interested, dont watch it. simples.

I am asking the same question 🤔 Still watching but wondering how long, I find it pretty boring, its not giving me reason to watxh, especially when so many other, in my opinion better dramas are ongoing as well. Ive not rated it by the way and I dont think I will bother either, its nothing to hate about it, its just mediocre.

just skip it. I learnt it now, I simply dont enjoy a drama if I dont like the leads. no time to waste

hahah! see? I dont find CXX attractive at all, I always wonder why others do 😄 i do find him much better in this one though, hes growing on me. I like Lu Yuxiao, but I see what you mean, if you dont particularly like someone you defo see them differently than other people. Nothing's wrong with that, i now simply move on and dont watch dramas where I dont like one of the leads as its not worth my time and I won't enjoy anyway. there are so many good ones out there, no real reason to watch something you dislike. Just skip it 😄

I think there was chemistry there, i reckon mainly due to Lu Yu Xiao, I think she has chemistry with all her costars, but I did find kiss scenes a bit awkward. Here I think theyre very natural, probably as they've known each other for a long time and get on very well as we could see when she was gossiping on that award show. I do enjoy the plot here and also loving the comedy side. we shall see where it lands..

it is worth watching LbL though, I think i just like this style of story better, lightweight and funny. like their little comedy elements and they are just super chilled together.

Reading the comments, I think I might be the only one here, who actually prefers this over Love Between Lines, which I did like, I binged it pretty much in 2-3 days as I started it later, but I do think it is a tad bit overhyped.
I much much prefer CXX's styling in this. I really disliked the weird one button blazers they put him in LBL (not the game part obviously which was perfectly fine).
Anyway, I don't really want to compare, the 2 are so very different both in genre and ML/FL characters and of course it is early days, but I am very much looking forward to the new episodes, I am seated!

I am with you. I have no problems to watch the same actor even at the same time. they did the same with Cheng Lei last year and Hou Minghao earlier, no bother for me at all, happily watching them all at once too. especially when there is clearly a straight cut with style, behaviour, etc.

How odd. I feel his styling is way better here, the only thing i disliked in LBL was his styling 😃 here comes we are all looking at things differently.

I've not watched all the episodes yet, literally just started but what do you mean by in-your-face style? I can however confirm that I pretty much wore the same style of clothes than now, in fact I am still wearing majority of my jeans from late 1990s and early 2000s 😄

I reckon they were a bit awkward, but nothing overly different from majority of them in the Cdrama world. I dont think ML is particularly good in establishing chemistry in intimate scenes, but then I've only ever seen him in My Boss and compared to that, this is defo an improvement so I didnt even think twice about quantity vs quality 😄

haahha! They were like 99% of Cdrama kisses 😃 only 2 kisses i remember as something to remember fo in Cdramas, were tbe cut scene of Love in the Clouds when Huo Minghao flew onto her mouth wide open and the kiss in Embrace in the Dark Night. very rarely if ever you see a Yoona, Junho type of kiss from King the Land 🙂

I enjoy this a lot, so many laugh out loud moments, when I cannot hold back and just giggle. I didnt see many bodyswap dramas, byt theyre pulling off each other's characters really well, similarly to the C drama the day of becoming you. I like the set, the leads, I do like SML and SFL, hope they get together rather than triangles, but we shall see. the usual plotting in the palace, which is always there in historical dramas, no surprises there.
I am very much looking forward to the rest of the episodes and hoping for no downhill 🤞

I really liked Flourished Peony, so most definitely recommended. Only criticism is they never should have made it two part, I think the second part could have just been wrapped up as a part of a 40 episode drama with the first part. it was 32 and 24 episodes I think. The whole wibe, colours, cinematography were beautiful.

Sometimes I do wonder, whether people complaining about lack of chemistry watch the same drama at all. what else would you want for chemistry? beyond me....

hahahaha! i wish I could just drop dramas like this 😁 but no, even when the actor/actress gives me the ick I have a thing to finish it. its very few I managed to really drop to the point im not planning to go back to them.

she is keeping her old husband there for sure, she also made RSB swear, she's ditching her husband if he does anything shady, these are definite, not tell tales. Maybe she is not bad, but she's certainly too authoritive for my liking with the only possible correct view is hers. She takes the role of a Martiarch too seriously, like YunXi said, they would benefit from someone less traditional.

even if it is, I don't think granny ever going to redeem herself for me hahah. I can see it either way, this drama keeps on surprising me
