I've been thinking what other drama this reminds me of, it's the Flourished Peony for me. Business/female oriented FL and scheming official ML who's working on getting rid of corruption. I do see similarities, is it just me? Also Mango TV production, so it looks like a pattern. It's more intrigues in this one, everyone is working on their own agenda, very much keeping us on our toes for sure. Cannot wait to see more.
When did the grandmother become so stupid? As someone who's been the head of the Rong family for so long, I'm…
Hearing all the stories from the past, she might have been good in business, but probably the power gone into her head a long time ago. She seems to have been cruel all her life - how she handled her husband, the Third Brother's wife, the oath she made RSB to take, all very selfish and cruel. It probably was masked better before RSB lost her favour as she was handling majority of the things. Now with her not around, nothing to keep her in check.
MDL really went: “You didn’t need those 7 episodes anyway” 😭
unclouded soul - I dont see why people so mad about the ending its open, you interpret the way you like it. sure, they could have stopped at episode 38 and give them HE, but it was so good in the middle, its a waste not to go and finish it.
I’m surprised she isn’t more mad at him. she’s mad at him but it’s sort of tame. girl likes him A LOT.…
She explained it all though. she is very reasonable, smart, intellignet and calculative, I think its normal for her to judge by reason not by emotions. defo not a hot headed reaction that probably most of us would do 😅
I agree, i dont think it was bad ending. could they have actually close the loop and give them a happy ending?…
oh ok. in my interpretation she will figure out a way to get their happily ever after and I could even see a little animation similar to the one when Hong Ye collected the mirror pieces, and then get their happy ending. potentially even saving the 3 demons from their deaths, they were very unnecessary..
I agree, i dont think it was bad ending. could they have actually close the loop and give them a happy ending?…
yeah they were just odd and I certainly disliked how they turned out to be at end. also, how did he demoned himself? he literally consumed 3 ultra demons power then he just went to live on like a human? I dont understand. so in the time loop. she cannot change the past but could she not change the present timeline so Hong Ye does not lock himself away?
Qiong Qi is one of the great demons, but Bing Zhu and Lu Pian Pian can kill him like a fly? Okay, Bing Zhu get…
well he did but he had no idea who she was then and as you said he had no emotional bond either. overall I was not that mad with the ending, would I have preferred if theyre given happy ending and not killing off everyone, or locking Hong ye away? of course, but this open ending was in line with the whole show how he got one plot twice after the other, so kinda worked for me. I do have a lot of questions that I wonder if they thought of or have solutions for, like when ahe leaves the bodies, what happens with the original owners of those bodies, do they just carry on? disappear? I provably would like a quick epilogue of what she did different this time and how she changed the time line(s) id she did change them. all well. food for thoughts haha

I think if he was not as nasty though he might not have swayed to ho behind Xiao Yao's back and betray her. still. I didnt like Ao Han, so very much indifferent for me whether he died or not, the other 2 were much nicer and deof deserved to live especially Tang She.
Definitely an open ended drama depending on how you choose to interpret it. My takeaway is the beginning is the…
I agree, i dont think it was bad ending. could they have actually close the loop and give them a happy ending? yes, certainly. it would have been more satisfying. But this was not bad, certainly open. and certainly certain things that could be changing if she plays her cards differently. I am not mad at the ending at all, i thought it was a lot worse based on the comments!

Oh, I could not care less about Ao Hen, he was nasty, his behavior very much resulted how Hong Ye ended up. I felt sorry for Teng She though, he was just saving the baby....
oh interesting.i find this was much better than Love o2o or you are my glory. I only watch you are my glory when…
I didnt want to bash love o2o, as I said I did like it but I would never go back to it again to watch, whereas from old dramas one of my favourites is Youre beautiful Kdrama and even though its cringe as hell, I can go back to it any time and just randomly watxh any episodes, its a feel good one for me. I think for YAMG, I was a bit taken back by the cute talks of Dilraba, so that slightly taken it down for me, but it was a solid drama ans I think it must have been nice watching it when it was released similarly how I was watching and awaiting the new episodes of Shine on me.
Just finished and I am feeling a little sad may be? It was good but fell short compared to Love o2o and YAMG,…
oh interesting.i find this was much better than Love o2o or you are my glory. I only watch you are my glory when this started airing, so not over a period of time but rather quickly in the Chirstmas break. Love o2o a while ago and whereas I liked it, I find them way more cringe than the leads in this drama. I think the characters were much better built and more detailed, had more development overall, I found Love o2o quite 2 dimensional but its been a while and I dont have the urge to go back and rematch. each to their own, we all have our preferences and every drama finds their audience, so its all good.
I've not finished ep 6 yet but no one seems to talk about the prosecutor dude. As bad as he was in high school, he seems to be decent enough to try to actually find out the truth and not just charge Ra Ik. his father is an absolute trash though, grrr. horrible character.
