I really enjoyed this first episode. I'm also watching Ghost Seeing Detective Cheo Yong right now and they're different enough that I don't feel like I'm wasting my time.
I just sat trough the first 2 epis and maaan it's sooo boring! I will prob watch epi 3 to give it another chance…
You have read my mind-- I think she's pretty useless as a teacher and it's kinda ticking me off to watch. The only reason I'm finishing it is because I'm watching it with a friend who loves Lee Jong Suk and it's excellent background noise for drinking (just kidding... kind of).
So... if I ship Kikuta and Himekawa (like, HARD) will the movie destroy me emotionally? (I'm trying to decide whether I should watch it, or just retain the drama's ending as the definitive end of the story for me).
Hmm, I just watched Sabu's 2009 film Kanikousen (Crab Cannery Ship) and he was in it (along with Matsuda Ryuhei, Kengo Kora and I'm pretty sure Oshinari Shugo) but I don't see it here. Is it difficult to add a movie? I don't know any of the other actors.
Huh, Nishijima Hidetoshi and Kagawa Teruyuki together again! They were great playing cat and mouse with one another in Double Face (though it sounds like they'll be allies in this drama).
Wow, I agree with all of the men (though I'd include some others, esp. in the over 30 category-- Sorimachi Takashi, Okada Junichi, Nishijima Hidetoshi for example).
The women too, I mostly agree with, the only exception for me being (shock!) Horikita Maki. I know she's popular and well-regarded but it's just that whatever she's in, it's not that I don't like the show but I end up liking it despite her or at best indifferent to her presence. Her performances just don't stand out to me. (But hey-- I used to feel that way about Takeuchi Yuko but now after recently watching Danda Rin and Strawberry Night I've done a 180.)
Wholeheartedly agree with Karina though-- I'll watch almost anything she does, especially the latter dramas where she's in the lead.
Hehe, I watched this (back when it was airing) strictly for Nishijima Hidetoshi too (I was like, "Hey it's the guy I like from 'Real Clothes'!"). He was great in this (though truth be told I would fall for his character Kohei in real life too-- I find astronomy really interesting & cool). As for Kim Tae Hee-- her delivery sounded kind of strange and a bit, well, stilted to me. I don't speak Japanese and even I could tell she was not a native speaker. But hey, to her credit starring in a TV show in a foreign language is no mean feat. I sure as hell couldn't pull it off, so kudos to her.
Please tell me this picks up once Kim Woo Bin shows up. A friend and I have just started watching and man, the…
Hmmm... we're on ep.06 and I'm not seein' it yet (we're only watching 1 ep/week because quite frankly I think we'd fall asleep if we watched 2 in a row). I suspect I'm gonna be one of those folks who just doesn't get what others see in this show. It happens. *shrug*
Just watched this this week and it was great! But I'm almost scared to watched the second part after how the first one ended (if anything bad happens to Jun after all that, I'm gonna cry).
All I'll be watching is Secret Love Affair. I've heard it's an adaptation of the same novel as the Tokyo Tower movie, which I thoroughly enjoyed, so it seems promising. (Though judging by this synopsis, the similarity seems limited to the age difference and apparently not a lot else. Guess I'll have to wait and see!)
I can only find the first 4 episodes, can anybody tell me where to watch it all please?
You can torrent all the raw video files at d-addicts but so far it's only been fansubbed up to ep.05 (fansubs can also be found in d-addict's fansub forum).
Please tell me this picks up once Kim Woo Bin shows up. A friend and I have just started watching and man, the first 3 eps were... slooooooow. Then, FINALLY, Kim Woo Bin appears late in ep.03. It'll get significantly more interesting from here on out, right? Right?!
all the characters are sort of twisted in their own way , its not everyone's cup of tea but do give it a chance!…
Wait... you're not talking about what I wrote, right? Because (if you are) saying a show doesn't appeal to me is far from "hate," and B.) I think 2 episodes is usually enough for anyone to gauge if a show is to their taste or not (especially J-dramas, being shorter than K-dramas). If you weren't talking to me then kindly disregard.
You can get complete fansubs (softsubs) at http://zuixihuan.livejournal.com/ ...BUT you'll have to join and follow…
It may take a while for them to accept the request. I'm pretty sure one of the page's mods will look at applications first before approving (hence the very specific hoops to jump through). Back when I joined last year I just applied, left it alone for a week, and when I checked back I had been accepted.
I'll be honest, I thought this was kinda boring. Being such a super-short story it didn't really have time to make me care about the characters. But if you're a fan of Ki Kwang this is definitely for you-- it's basically a fangirl's fantasy set to film (which is probably all it was ever intended to be, really, so in that it succeeds).
I decided to drop this at episode 2. I realized that I really don't like either Saeko or Souta, so watching these characters is not appealing to me. Think I'll check out MatsuJun in Lucky Seven instead, I've heard that was funny.
The women too, I mostly agree with, the only exception for me being (shock!) Horikita Maki. I know she's popular and well-regarded but it's just that whatever she's in, it's not that I don't like the show but I end up liking it despite her or at best indifferent to her presence.
