well then you cannot watch anything western wher there is nudity and porn and drugs and violence etc and just…
I agree. While many things that happen in K dramas don’t match my personal values, they are good storytelling without explicit/excessive display of the things I don’t want to see.
Okay, just a heads up, if you can’t turn off your brain to enjoy an absolutely bananas plot then this isn’t for you. Also if dub/non con is triggering for you then I would also not recommend this. If you enjoy watching insane plotlines with cartoonishly evil villains for the camp, then I absolutely recommend it.
- how can I make you feel more secure?- no more secrets. tell me everything. - got it. here’s an inconclusive…
he just isn’t ready to tell her, but instead of saying that simply, he has to be super vague. their whole problem is communication, so it makes sense that it would continue.
back for my weekly squee/lament that I have to wait 6 whole days to see more! This is why I never watch shows as they are airing! it’s so dang good it’s all I can think about!
I'm enjoying this drama a lot, but I'm curious if there is any Chinese user or anyone familiar with Chinese culture.…
I don’t know where you are from, but in my country dramas have insanely unrealistic set ups and relationships. It’s perfectly valid to ask the question, I too don’t know what it’s really like in China, but I imagine it is safe to assume that their tv shows have many unrealistic elements like anywhere else.
We must’ve watched entirely different dramas. I thought the FL was really realistic, relatable, and mature given her situation and position in life. The business with the mistress in episode 15 was to illustrate that everyone has legal rights and it is the lawyer’s job to not make moral judgments but to defend the rights of any given client. I have only ever seen depictions in fiction of lawyers being heroes or despicable. I really appreciated that this show gave a more nuanced look at what being a lawyer(especially in family law) might be like.
so sml and ml both love fl , and they're are they friends because of having something on common that they love…
ML and 2ML grew up together, so they were friends before. 2ML and FL have a sort of “missed connection” in their past which inspires the 2MLs feelings. 2ML isn’t exactly over her in the end, but he acknowledges her choice and doesn’t plan to keep going after her.
please someone spoil me and let me know if the 2nd lead will turn evil? he’s just so 💕
great question! I hate hate hate when the second lead is a really good guy until he gets rejected and then turns evil. I mean I get it, those people exist in real life, but come on. It get to be way too much sometimes.
The tone of this drama starts as a farce and slowly transforms into a serious drama. I was surprised by how moved I was by both the lead and 2nd lead couples. Highly recommended if you want to see a beautiful romance and don’t mind some over the top jokes in the first several episodes. 8.0
