TOXIC on another level. That show had me yelling at my tv and shaking my fists at the FL and the ML. My Lovely Sam Soon doesn’t have anything on Secret.

Anyone who has seen this drama, can you please tell me the name of the only song that plays toward the end of each episode. Also who sings it. It’s both a male and female voice. Anxiously awaiting the answer to my question.🥰

Unlike some others, I did not think this version was better than the Korean one. It's not bad, but it's also not great. Although it is only 10 episodes I found it to be a bit draggy. Since it pretty much mimicked it's Korean counterpart, by episode 6 I was seriously considering dropping the drama. Anyway I can't think of any reason not to watch this drama, so there you have it.

I totally liked this one more than Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning. It was not as dark and gloomy as The Beginning. I thought the fight scenes were better, maybe because they were not as bloody. Obviously because Kenshin was no longer killing he seemed happier, which I enjoyed more. Very good installment.

I have decided to watch this series in the order of its actual time in the movies. So of course this one comes first since it's the prequel. I really don't know anything about this franchise so I am only judging this movie by what I watched. I gave it a 7.5 because even though the fight scenes were great, the movie itself was a bit draggy to me. I'm not a manga to movie expert so I can't comment on that, but I can say is it was good enough that I didn't stop watching and I'm willing to move on to the next installment.

Please recommend more, I'm always on the lookout for a good drama in almost any genre (but especially romance).😉

I liked this drama, didn't love it but it wasn't a bad watch. There are some draggy parts but on the whole this drama is cute and funny throughout.

Well I was looking for a Japanese drama to watch and I came upon your article. Needless to say I am about to get into this drama, good or bad thank you for the recommendation. I've rewatching shows for awhile and wanted something new. Let's Get It!!😉

Okay I am not on the same boat as everyone else. This drama was just okay for me. It might have been very good if they had not dragged it out for 20 episodes, although if you add all those 30 minutes they tacked on to every episode it really was a 30 episode drama and I felt every one of them. I was ready to drop this drama at episode 2 or 3 but since my mom enjoyed it I kept giving it chances. I kept thinking they were just rinse & repeating stuff to make the drama longer, not because any of it was necessary. It started getting better by episode 15 and that was because finally the story was moving forward with consequences against the bad guys. I was so delighted they didn't go the route most Korean dramas take, they actually let the bad guys get their comeuppance. Normally in dramas the villains get away with crap the whole show and toward the end they act like they regret the bad things they did and they are forgiven for all that nastiness they kept up the whole time and it's like they never did anything. Thankfully that did not happen here. Very satisfied with the ending. If you are not in search of a straight up love story (there is a bit in here) and are okay with violence (more than a bit in here) then definitely watch this drama (don't forget it's a lot draggy).

Yeah, but how was I to know it wasn't my taste. I don't remember reading any comments that said this drama was g-rated. All that aside, I still did not appreciate his childish behavior. As for how I sometimes choose shows, I'm okay with the hit and misses because I enjoy delightful surprises I sometimes come across. Especially the ones I was sure I was going to hate. No matter I sometimes like to leave a little heads up in the comments for potential watchers. Of course they have to still make up their own minds.

I liked this version more than the Korean one. This one told the same story, but it felt like a lighter touch. After seeing the Korean version I appreciated that the Japanese didn't show a seriously ruined Rui like they did the So Ji Sub character. Of course that is my preference, others might like that realism. I found it really wasn't necessary to get the moving forward. Watch both and make your own comparisons whenever you have the time.

Good movie.

Goofy, yet decent.

Although I gave it a 6.5, it's still a good show to watch. It sincerely tells a story of family and how we deal with each through good and bad times. The low marks are for its slowness and my disappointment of its miniscule amount of physical romance (kissing), just my preference.

Like everyone else I thought this movie was extremely slow. I held because I mistakenly thought this was headed for a decent love story. What I actually got was a woman finding a better her in the midst of so many awful things in her life, including herself. Though this is not the best movie I've ever seen, I appreciate her journey.
