This movie was weirdly good. Don't get me wrong I didn't really 'get' some of it, but by the time it ended I got enough to be ok. Not going to be everyone's cup of tea so be prepared for that. It's dark and slow moving but it ends of making since, to me anyway.

I enjoyed this one and the previous one. They were so sweet and lovely. Of course if they had just spoken honestly with each other things would have been straightened out much sooner. I've not seen a whole lot of BL's but of the ones I've seen these stood out. Definitely should watch if you like this genre.

Although I wanted to like this movie (Sato, Suda), of course I was expecting. This movie had my head spinning in all sorts of directions. I could not figure out what was going on. It was just not a great movie. Watch at your own risk.

i would love to watch this coz i really loved the korean version. sadly reading through comments i think i don't…
I agree totally. I'm not a fan of Cdramas but I was about to watch this version because I've seen the Japanese and Korean versions and wanted to compare. The Korean version is my favorite also and I don't think this one is even going to compare.

Although the movie isn't horrible, it is slow and draggy. I don't know how the ML pushed through, his life seemed so miserable. If quiet slow moving movies are your taste please watch, it's not a bad movie.

I found it very hard to connect with the characters or the story. I liked the friendship between the fellows but for me it didn't save the movie. It wasn't bad movie but it didn't grab me so I wouldn't be suggesting it to anyone.

There is this movie and a 5 episode prequel. I definitely liked the prequel better. Although this one was OK, I found it to be slightly less fun than the prequel. Plus I never could warm up to the FL. Both are lighthearted fun to watch.

I liked the story but there was something off about the words. The way they talked to each other was very stilted and at times made no sense to me. It made for some frustrating dialog. I can't in all good consciousness recommend this drama, but if it is something you have PTW by all means do so.

You need to be able suspend your beliefs for almost 2 hours to sort of enjoy this movie. It is a silly cute movie and I was OK with that. No high expectations so not disappointed in the end. Can't really say if others will enjoy it because on another kind of day and time I may have disliked this movie. Who can tell?
On Love at Least Mar 19, 2021
Sorry I did not vibe with this movie. Boring as hell. She clearly needed help yet no one around her had anything intelligent to say about how to deal with her depression. Don't waste your time on this one.

Ok Japanese filmmakers must refuse to give up their feminine thoughts of women even if they are supposedly bad ass detectives on the police force. On the last episode, when the FL was running, it hit me that she had a big ass purse strapped on her shoulder. What cop would do that? I guess it's like America's CSI franchise (especially Miami) where the females ran around in heels investigating crimes. Anyway besides that, the show was decent. Other than the blatant sexism she faced daily I was happy with the crime story formula they presented. Not a bad show to watch.

I'm going to be real here, if not for the eye candy that is Kazuya Kamenashi, I wouldn't have watched this drama. It was way too PG almost G rated for my taste. Plus Kamenashi's character was too childish.
On Tokyo Bandwagon Mar 17, 2021
This drama was wholesome and very good. I enjoyed it immensely. I'm like others who had it on their plan to watch list and just never got around to it. I think I wasn't sure if it was going to be any good. The whole family aspect pulled me in and kept me happily watching. Definitely recommend to anyone wondering.
On Gokusen Season 2 Mar 16, 2021
Although it did feel similar to the first one and the repeating of phrases was starting to wear thin, it's still watchable.
On Threads: Our Tapestry of Love Mar 14, 2021
It's long and except for when they were 13 the ML and FL don't have relationship until the very end and still I liked this movie. I love Masaki Suda so I was absolutely going to give a movie of his a chance.

Have you seen the movie as well? If you have which one is more worth watching?
I watched the drama first then tried to watch the movie, but the actors in the drama ruined it for me with other actors. I pretty much fell asleep trying to watch the movie. So to finally answer your question , watch the drama. Plus I love Matsuzaka Tori and Seto Koji.
On I Don't Love You Yet Mar 8, 2021
First let me complain about the length. Sixteen episodes are too many for my J-drama watching self. Sure I except it for K-dramas, but that is what I'm used to with them. J-dramas are usually 10 episodes so even though that doesn't really give you enough time to develop the characters I still enjoy getting to the good part quicker. Ok that's out of the way, I really liked this drama. I would absolutely recommend this for folks to watch.
