zhao zhao master is definitely holding a grudge against demon sect because pingshu loved someone from demon sect instead of him. I bet he's not a good guy at all, but I dobt that he is that man in black, maybe he gives him orders at most, but I feel like the man in black is someone else, maybe someone we've never seen yet.
also I hope lingbo will change a little bit, even though she's annoying I can see the potential for a character development, it would be cute if she would support our main leads, but only if she would stop obeying her parents

stop using esther yu name to bring down another actresses, I wouldn't be surprised if you are not even an esther fan but rather a hater...

ngl after the first episode I was kinda disappointed but since I finished watching unveil jadewind and I had nothing else to watch I decided to keep watching and see. (also I love shou yiran and bao shang en visuals so I didn't want to give up that easily) and honestly after 3 episodes it become more interesting, I hope it will develop even more. so if you want to watch then you shouldn't care that much about ratings but try to watch at least 5 episodes and see for yourself

I loved how they showed everyone connected to each case, it's something that I always wanted in other dramas, especially zhao yudi with that little boy it's so sweet that he's with her. but what was the last minute of the last episode??? it's like a tease for 2nd season or at least some special episode but I doubt that will happen, anyways it's quite interesting

I'm also confused about the plot but from what I've read in the comments and my own opinion I think maybe it's true that he had a tough life in boston, maybe he was bullied since there were scars on his face, maybe it's not like he pretended to be his roommate and ha ran was his roommate gf but maybe he just kinda made up everything about him, maybe their relationship was purely online, maybe they never met irl so she may not know his face at all

annabel yao is so high in the cast list I thought she will become an important character and not only for one case, she's on a main poster too..

the cases are becoming more and more interesting, I love how I never feel bored while watching this drama. some people may say they don't like it or it didn't reach their expectations while for me it will probably become one of my fav drama (depending on how it will end tho...)
also I wonder what role will dai luwa play here because for now we've only seen her once, I hope she will become someone important in the story because I really like her

with the amount of deaths we get every episode I'm afraid in the end we will lose one of the important characters like wuren or prosecutor gu or pei yi master. it seems like this type of drama where even if we get a happy ending for leads, we will probably see a lot of angst before...

wait I'm surprised by some comments saying it's boring?? ofc everyone has a different taste but I binge watched the first 4 episodes and I really enjoyed them. maybe it's because I love those mystery solving, investigation dramas and I eat up every each one of them but it started really good for me
