I actually love that the first madam is actually good to lanxiang and knows that she's smart and capable. unfortunately it may change after jinqi will decide to marry her, but I hope it won't, I want to see her support lanxiang even more after that.. also I think the upcoming episodes are the beginning of the downfall of the du siblings or am I wrong??
no matter what people say I personally absolutely love how they potray lanxiang rn. don't get me wrong I also love dramas where FL is very strong, not afraid of anything and she will do everything for revenge. but here everything is potrayed very realistically. she may be from shen family, but for now she's lanxiang, just a servant, with no real power, she only want to survive and to live peacefully with her foster parents and that's completely okay. that's what her mother told her to do, to live. not to seek revenge. ofc later she will probably get revenge after she will become more powerful, but I just can't stand people who say that she's weak...she just want to survive. another thing I liked in todays episode was how she reacted to this whole commotion with lu dalang, ut didn't just brush past her, it actually scared her and left a scar not only on her body but also on her mind. no matter what everyone says I love how they potray her character and I will definitely love the development of her and their relationship, but it really doesn't have to happen fast to be good
I'm worried that in this drama we will unfortunately see many deaths, some of them probably unnecessary and very very heartbreaking. does someone who read the novel spoil me a little how it was??

I have an issue with this cast list, some people who rarely appear are on top of the list,some of them are not even here. I wanted to know the name of the actress who play young lady wu but it seems like she's not here, a sen is apparently played by an actor who's 37 years old?? quite confusing
