I would never thought that a drama that I started watching only because I was bored and had nothing else to watch would become one of my favorites. so glad I started it. even though I wish we could see more of lovey dovey scenes between yan chi and qin wan, yan li and yue ning and bai feng and fuling, I'm still satisfied. at least there weren't any unnecessary deaths of characters I liked and even though a little bit rushed but still it was nicely summed up in the end. really a great drama

what I also wanted to point out is that when the actor that plays the emperor was acting sad about prince rui death and crown prince death you could see it was all fake but not because the acting was bad, it was because he did soo well in potraying the character

even though I didn't really like crown prince, his death was quite sad. I felt so bad for zhaoyu, his mother and empress dowager. he wasn't good but at least he was better than that mf yan qi

this for sure. I hoped it won't be a rushed ending but now I feel like it will be. maybe they will change some things from the novel or just mention them briefly to fit everything that is important. would be better if it was 40 episodes I think

I hope they will give a happy ending to qin shuang in the drama too. even though she stayed with qin xiang, she was way better than her

what is gonna happen to qin wan cousins qin shuang and qin xiang? is it mentioned in the novel?

btw the actor who's playing prince cheng role is really good. when i watched the scene with qin wan in 30th episode I was surprised that his acting was this good. I hope to see him more in the future
