I ran to watch the new ep only to realize that for 3 days we will only have 1 ep per day and in the later hour 😭😭

no no no I meant that I would hate to have a misunderstanding like we often have in another dramas, in this one there wasn't any, they separate for 5 years but during this time they write ltters to each other, from what I've caught up from some clips, FL may be a little angry at him because ML didn't go to see her when he was wounded, but I guess it won't last too long

if they won't get married soon I will go crazy. I understand that he wants to become powerful to protect her but I don't think her safety would ever be guaranteed, just like someone commented, even the emperor can't guarantee the safety of his lover. I love Zhao Ling but really at this point him postponing this marriage is just encouraging stupid btches in the capital like yake to humiliate TingYun because she's "old" and not married and with the way ZL behaves it may seem like he doesn't care at all. I hope it will change in the upcoming episodes

actually we shouldn't judge everything purely from the trailers. we still don't know what exactly will happen in the upcoming episodes so it's quite hard to judge if ML lowering himself to get accepted is actually the worst thing he could do. who knows what happened, maybe FL somehow had to go back to her family and bear the Fu surname again, that's why he's doing all that

we lost yucheng already so I wonder who's next because someone definitely will be... also yu jingxiu this mf, death would be too easy for him, I want him to first be stripped of his title and achievements, reduced to a commoner, then live his life worse than a beggar or just let him be humiliated and tortured just like he did to zhao ling, I don't want no easy death for him

one thing I'm really surprised about is how zhao ling is ready to do everything to protect tingyun. like come on in the first episodes he was rather delicate, he fought people but he was never ruthless or whatever. but I see the change in his character now, especially after he killed that lu guy. I honestly never expected that from him. but I'm not complaining because yuxi looks so good in roles like this

oh and also ofc I hate jingxiu but there is one good thing about him. he will unleash a beast in zhao ling, that's why zhao ling will be promoted fast, jingxiu wanted to humiliate him and leave him at the very lowest only for this to backfire on him, now zhao ling will have so much hatred towards him and he will probably ruin the entire yu family in the end

I've seen the trailers and now I can be sure that zhao ling never betrayed tingyun, just like he always said, he wants to become really powerful first so he can protect her, he doesn't want to drag her into this mess. I also hope that he will become so powerful to the point when he will crush that bastard yu jingxiu

did they ever said something about the previous FL or do they act like she doesn't exist?

yesss, like I understand her hatred towards fu family but why is she taking it out on tingyun instead of grandma or someone else...

so many annoying characters, that makes my blood boil, I hope they will all get what they deserve as fast as possible

7.9??? wow ratings on mdl nowadays really prove that you shouldn't care about them if you want to watch something. Those 6 episodes were actually enjoyable and I'm saying this as someone who really can't get into many new dramas out there

if they will turn this into a romance between a living person and a ghost then I'm gonna lose it. but honestly I don't think so, because if now he would turn into ghost or even just be in coma and be some sort between being alive and dead then it wouldn't make sense for the plot. because I think he has to be alive to help the ghosts with resolving their issues and bring their killers to justice, he can't do that if he's invisible to everyone beside FL right? I hope I'm right and he really is alive, just had near death experience

I've said it before but I'm gonna say it again and again if necessary. I love this couple. people may complain about chemistry or the lack of it or whatever. but for me they are one of the best cdrama couples. the way there are no misunderstandings, the way they communicate with each other, the way they are so mature with each other. this is what a perfect chemistry and a perfect romance is to me. this is the type of love that I would love to experience in my own life. hands down my favorite drama this year for sure

oh and also, people complaining about the romance and lack of chemistry... I know everyone can have their own opinion but for me this type of slow burn and mature romance is exactly what I needed in a drama and I couldn't find for a long time. the chemistry keeps increasing and I'm really excited watching their scenes together, for me it's perfect

I've already lost my temper with wanxing parents and they only appeared for a while. if her grandparents could stand up from their grave they would probably slap the sh*t out of them for treating their precious granddaughter like this. I'm glad that at least wang fa father seems like a really good person and he will definitely treat wanxing like his own daughter and make her feel loved

1 episode a day is pure torture😭😭

even though I hate the misunderstanding between fxs and wcy I think they made it seem pretty realistic. this is how teenagers often act, impulsive, emotional. also they both had and still have many problems with their parents that they obviously don't want to explain to each other because they probably think it's embarrassing. and I love how they execute all of this in this drama. in a very healing way, the whole team already feel a bond with wcy and he also feel it but they are still so young, they still have to learn how to live and how to communicate with others without hurting them. and we can already see the progress

I absolutely love how their romance is progressing. usually I didn't like too much of a slow burn but here it's done perfectly and they are so mature with it. + I adored the last scene of 20th ep. wen chengye is actually a cutie, just with some communication issues
